Note that both SIU and Bradley are playing in the 2021 Paradise Jam. The fact that both teams have not released their non-conf schedules yet could suggest there is still some uncertainty regarding whether the Paradise Jam will take place as planned.Originally posted by 64NIT View Post

SIU's non-conference mbb schedule is still not finished. I have 10 games for the #Salukis now out of a possible 13. Still talking to Murray State, I'm told. The Saint Louis series was pushed to next season.

Actually, they only show 9 non-conference games on the schedule they released today- 3 home games (Nicholls, Richmond, & Jackson State), 3 road games (Arkansas, St. Bonaventure, & Marshall), and 3 games in the Diamond Head Classic. That leaves them 4 games short of the maximum number of non-conference games they could schedule (Bradley has the maximum of 13 non-conference games on their schedule). You're right. UNI is short four games, not two. I was using 29 as their limit but, they can play 31. I've seen on Twitter that some teams are still scrambling to fill their schedules. UNI is going with what they have and this is probably the problem SIU is having, as well. Most likely, the increase in conference games for some conferences is reducing the number of quality opponents available.My first BU hoops game was on 12/30/1963. The @SIU_Basketballteam will open the 2021-22 season at Little Rock Nov. 9, opening night. #Trojans went 11-15 overall and 7-11 in the Sun Belt Conference last season. They return 2 starters. One starter they're missing? #Salukis ' Ben Coupet Jr., who could start for SIU.

UNI isn't finished building their schedule:
Northern Iowa will host Vermont as part of its non-conference schedule, per sources. The game is set for November 11th. UNI continues to build onto an already strong schedule. #MVC #AEMBB

I'm guessing SIU will wait until the last minute to release their schedule. They have ten non-con games schedules, up to this point, and are probably looking to fill the remaining three. It looks like they wanted to add 3 more home games, but had trouble finding any D1 teams that wanted to play them in Cedar Falls. So the 3 new opponents include a couple of Division III Iowa schools.- Univ. of Vermont (D1), University of Dubuque (D3), and Wartburg College (D3).

Bradley schedule isn't pulling up for me and the ESPN site lists all the game times as TBD. Is anyone else having trouble getting the schedule from the Bradley site?Larry Bird
