Illinois State head coach Dan Muller said the Redbirds will play a guarantee game on the road. He said the other school has to officially release the game, but hinted it's "very drivable."

Missouri State will participate in the Naples Invitational from Nov. 22-22. Teams include George Washington, Middle Tennessee, Wright State, Ball State, Missouri State, and likely 3 more.

The Naples Invitational released their bracket and schedule. They have added James Madison and Murray State to their field.

Missouri State gets a favorable matchup against Long Beach State.
Long Beach State finished 9th out of 10 teams in the Big West last season. They were 6-12 overall and 4-8 in the Big West and RPI of 294.

Long Beach State has a Peoria connection. One of their 2021 incoming new recruits is Romon Douglas-Watkins, who played for Peoria Manual HS and at one time was recruited by Bradley. Most recently, he played at Otero Junior College.

As noted in another thread, Toledo just released their non-conference schedule, showing that Bradley plays at Toledo on Tuesday, Dec. 7-

In addition to playing Bradley, Toledo plays another MVC opponent. Their first game of the season is at Valparaiso on November 9, 2021.

There could still be one or 2 more added. The top home opponent is Toledo (RPI 76 last season). There are a couple decent midmajors in the Bahamas Showcase (it has been renamed the Baha Mar Hoops Nassau Championship), including a possible rematch with Toledo, but other than Coastal Carolina, it's anyone's guess who they'll play.

It includes 12 games, so they might add one more game. They have 6 home games, which appear relatively weak (Coppin St., FGCU, Chicago State, UIC, Roosevelt (NAIA), & Norfolk St., 3 road games (DePaul, Vanderbilt, and Davidson), and 3 games in the Battle for Atlantis.

Thanks for posting! I'd be surprised if they lose any of their 6 home non-con games- Coppin St., FGCU, Chicago State, UIC, Roosevelt (NAIA), & Norfolk St.
And I agree with you that they have some strong games on the road (DePaul, Vanderbilt, and Davidson) and especially with the games in the Battle for Atlantis tournament.
They play Michigan State in their first game in Nassau, then play either Auburn or UConn in the 2nd round.
Their 3rd game will be either Syracuse, VCU, Baylor, or Arizona State. There are no gimmes there. I hope they hold their own, but it would have been nice for them if they still had Krutwig.

Btw, I am hearing that Bradley's non-conference schedule is getting close to finalized.
