Thanks Rhody... but Bradley fans have seen all that for the last 2 years. We think Rhode Island is getting a pretty good player.

Nice work on the podcast. URI fans lucky to have that.

You should do a podcast with Tamperin’ Kenny Johnson about the recruitment of Zek Montgomery. Although he might not be allowed to discuss since he’s still on that Show-Cause from the last time he got caught breaking recruiting rules.

Zek is also the second Brave that Archie Miller lured away (Josh Cunningham). Regardless, I think Bradley came out a (significant) net positive in the loss of Montgomery by picking up Burch, Pettigrew and Ellis.

Since Bradley is playing UTEP tonight, it reminded me that Bradley has one other connection to UTEP.
Former Bradley player Mahri Petree, who played 2 seasons at Bradley for women's coach Andrea Gorski (2019-2021), is now in her 3rd season at UTEP. She was leading the UTEP team in scoring early last year (14.5 ppg) when she went down with a season-ending injury. So this season she is healthy and playing a key role as a starter for the UTEP women's team (9 ppg, 3 rpg).
                            Mahri Petree career stats- https://www.espn.com/womens-college-...2/mahri-petree

Her sister, Lasha Petree, played 3 seasons at Bradley for Coach Gorski (2018-2021), leading the team in scoring her 2nd and 3rd seasons here. She then transferred and played one season at Rutgers (2021-22), then completed her college career last season at Purdue (2022-23), where she lead the team in scoring (14.7 ppg), and 3-point FG% (37.8%).
                            Lasha Petree career stats- https://www.espn.com/womens-college-...6/lasha-petree

After finishing her college career, Lasha signed last May to play professional ball in Mexico- https://www.hammerandrails.com/2023/...tball-contract
She played over the summer for Abejas de Leon in the women's Mexican Liga Nacional de Baloncesto Professional.
There she averaged 6.8 ppg as a reserve.

In August, Lasha signed to play in Finland- https://www.eurobasket.com/Finland/n...-signs-at-ViVe
She is a starting guard for the women's team of Vimpelin Veto of the Korisliiga, the top pro league in Finland- https://basketball.eurobasket.com/te.../17697?Women=1
They are located in Vimpeli, Finland.
She is having a successful first year plsying there. Through the team's first 6 games, Lasha is averaging 19.2 ppg
