Ohio State sophomore forward E.J. Liddell, who scored 23 points and had 14 rebounds in their loss to Oral Roberts, received a couple disgusting social media messages attacking and threatening him-

Ohio State forward E.J. Liddell shared a series of threatening messages he received from angry fans following the Buckeyes' first-round exit. Ohio State has reached out to police, a source tells ESPN's Myron Medcalf.

I suspect the more widespread online sports gambling availability is what leads to this kind of act. These cretins who attacked Liddell probably lost a bundle betting on Ohio State.
