Former Bradley guard Terry Nolan, Jr. is transferring to Towson State. Terry's hometown is Baltimore, the area where Towson is located. He should be a good player for them.
Towson was 4-14 this season, and 3-9 in the Colonial Athletic Association.
I think Terry and Danya are smart guys to accept a scholarship offer quickly and secure a spot on the roster of a team they want to go to. So far, only a small percentage to the almost 700 players in the Transfer Portal have committed to another Division I school.
Terry will get to play in his hometown with Towson, and Danya will get a chance to play a lot at Grambling, and make a difference in his final season of eligibility.
Some players wait too long to accept an offer, and sometimes find the offers aren't there any more. This is a unique year. There will probably end up being record numbers of D1 transfers, and there will also be some D2 and lower level kids looking to transfer up to D1. Add in all the high school and junior college recruits, and there simply won't be enough scholarships available for all of them to get the scholarship they like. Some may have to take an offer to a school that still isn't the best place for them. And some may not end up back at D1, and will have to look into D2 or lower.
I wish Danya, Terry, Sean, Antonio, and Kevin the best of luck.
