Well, I sure was hoping he would stay. Here is to hoping Wardle finds some great players to fill the void.

      Dang it!

      Sad day.
Don’t think we get someone as good and solid as East for next year. Hope I’m wrong but he has all the tools. Right now we have ZERO point guards!
My best guess is that East didn’t see us being good enough to contend the next 2 years and could have been upset at lack of PT.

Looks like a rebuilding year or 2 coming up for BU hoops guys.

Too bad because I liked East’s game... However, can’t help but notice he will be at his 3rd school in 3 years....not a point of pride.

Man, we're not going to have any guards pretty soon! That is disappointing, but Dub brings up a good point. 3 schools in 3 years indicates he may be a bit of a prima donna.

I've got a theory that if you give 100 percent all of the time, somehow things will work out in the end.

So now we have to rely on the coaching staff to identify, evaluate and sign enough transfers to build our team for next year. They will have no sit out season to acclimate to program/system. Our last group of transfers, McAdoo, Kingsby, Nolan and East did not really work out so well. Three of those four were here for a full season to learn the “system” prior to leading us into this dumpster fire of a season- not holding out hope that whatever combination of transfers we sign will be much different.

It is really shocking to see all of Wardle's transfers leaving. He has had pretty good luck with his 4 year recruits, but I can't say any of our transfer players have turned out to be that good. East and Nolan had potential at points, I really would liked to keep East. The only one that I can say has had a measurable impact was Lundy but that was found out too late. At this point Wardle is going to need to pull in some transfers that can make an impact right away, we have a lot of spots open so I'm hoping he can hit on a few. I don't think he has the time for another complete rebuild, isn't his contract up in 2023?

This one stings.....East is the only player to enter portal I thinks hurts Bradley a lot. This just ruined my day.

I'd like to remind everyone that the last major rebuild that Wardle presided over at Bradley ended up with a Valley Championship in year 4. Keep your arms and legs inside the vehicle and take the ride, boys.

Has the JuCo landscape changed in the last 10-15 years? Seems like JL always had good success finding good JuCo guys, but am I mistaken that we've hardly had any under Wardle?

It is going to be a challenge to replace 5 guards plus Childs for the future. Plus one of the newcomers must be a capable point guard. I am getting too old to wait another 4 years for a rebuild.to become competitive and get to the NCAA tournament.

Hate to see East go but have to ask what the h-ll is going on in that program. Are the three kids suspended still in school or have they left. Just asking for a friend.

I was not a big East fan myself. I thought he was selfish with the ball and had way too many turnovers when he did pass. I do not want to lose Mast, Ville, JaShon or Boya. I have faith in BW but if one of those guys or the freshmen start bailing, Im going to start being concerned.

I also was not a big East fan. Had a careless dribble not a very good shot and went into the lane with nowhere to go. That being said we are going to need someone to play point guard. Are there any decent guards at the Peoria high schools? Manual has always been a good spot to look!
