Bradley lead most of the 1st half, by as many as 13 points. But Drake has slowly closed the gap, and the Braves lead 40-37 at halftime-

Drake is playing without several of their players, including 2 of their top 3 scorers, and without their head coach, Jenny Baranczyk, who was the positive Covid test, and a couple of her assistants.

Bradley women are going to the NCAA Tournament for the first time in the history of BU women's basketball! Bradley beats Drake 78-68 to win the 2021 Hoops in the Heartland MVC Tournament!
Congratulations to Head Coach Andrea Gorski and the tea. Gabi Haack was named the Player of the Game. She had 22 points.

Heroic effort by Drake who was missing their head coach, 2 assistant coaches, and 4 players, including their 2nd and 3rd leading scorers, due to the head coach testing positive for Covid after Friday's game, and the others qualified for isolation due to contact tracing.
