The BU women finished the regular season with a win today 80-58 over Indiana State-

They finished the season 14-11 overall, 10-8 in the MVC, and the #5 seed. They start the MVC Tournament next Friday in Moline against the #4 seed UNI.

In Day 2 of the MVC Women's Tournament, #5 seed Bradley played #4 seed UNI in the 2:00 pm game.
The game stayed close throughout, but Bradley pulled ahead in the final minute of the game by 7 points, their largest margin of the game, and they held on for the 62-59 win.

Neither team shot real well, but Bradley made 17 of 18 free throws, several of them inside the final minute to seal the win. Congratulations to Head Coach Andrea Gorski!

Bradley will play again at 1:00 pm Saturday against #1 seed Missouri State, which won the earlier game today 70-59 over #8 seed SIU.

BU women have COVID positives. However, bizarre scenario playing out in the Cities. MVC may force MSU to play or forfeit. Waiting for statement from the MVC. 1:00pm game will not be played.

This is effectively the same plan (reseeding excluded) the MVC was going to use with UNI last week, but the St Louis city officials overruled the MVC. Hard to blame MSU for taking the safe approach of forfeiting the tourney knowing they will be an at-large bid in the NCAA tourney regardless.

Sounds like Bradley and Loyola agreed to the reseeding approach.
