With the regular season completed I am starting to review the roster and look at things that jump out to me.

I think one really bright spot has been Rienk Mast. I was eagerly anticipating seeing him play this year after reading so much about his career prior to BU. initially in the non-conference schedule I was disappointed as I thought he should have been getting more playing time.

It was great to see his minutes jump up for the MVC schedule.

In MVC play Mast averaged 10.1 pts and 6.5 rbds. Very respectable for a freshman in the MVC and a well deserved all frosh placement .

Mast averaged 27.8 minutes in MVC play. Push that up to 33-34 minutes next year and he could very well be a 13/8 type player and I think he has a lot of room to grow and improve. BU really needs to establish solid scoring for next year and I think Mast will be a key part of it. I’m definitely looking forward to seeing his career play out at BU.

There is a chance, depending on who among this season's players do not return next year, that he could become one of the team's top scoring options next year. So possibly, your estimate of 13 ppg is on the low side.

Mast has a knack for scoring, and shoots well from FT line.
Add his great 3-point stroke that is hard to defend, I could easily see him avg. 14 ppg if we only have Henry as another inside scoring option.
Hoping that Hannah can work on some things in the offseason and give us 6-8 ppg next season.

And let's not forget that Bradley will also have Ari Boya back next year, hopefully healthy and better than ever. Ari was averaging about 6 ppg and 7 rpg, and he was leading the MVC in blocks when he went out. There is not another player in the MVC quite like Ari, and he could be a difference-maker against teams like Loyola, Drake, Missouri State, and UNI, who have effective inside big men that hurt Bradley in games this season.
