Ex-BU hoopster Marcus Pollard had a fine day yesterday.
He is the new tight end in Seattle, taking over for Jeremy Stevens, and just as soon as he entered the game (a 30-13 Seattle Seahawks win over Minesota)
he had three consecutive catches _ including one for 24 yards _ to set up Shaun Alexander's 1-yard touchdown run that made it 16-7 in the second quarter.
Seattle coach Mike Holmgren said "It was really nice to see Marcus Pollard catch a couple of balls and feel a part of this thing."
The lead story on the game in the Seattle Times had this headline:
"Hawks tight end Pollard gets a grip"
