I'm still excited. Go BRAVES! I really enjoyed watching the young guys gut out that W against Drake last weekend.

SIU is a 2.5 point favorite-

Ja'Shon Henry is not available to play, but Ville Tahvanainen and Kevin McAdoo are both in uniform and warming up.
For SIU, Marcus Domask will not play.

If we play well today, like we did against Drake, we can win today. I don't care if we win, just play smart, hard and show improvement. It'll give us an idea if this group of kids will be pretenders or contenders.

          GO BRADLEY

When Ville is not hitting 3's he is a huge liability....cannot guard anyone. Who told MacAdoo he is Michael Jordan ....guys wide open at the arc and he keeps driving and missing open lay ups or throws it up hoping for a foul. Mast had a beautiful game. East is a huge key to next season along with Mast.

Short-handed Bradley just couldn't keep up with SIU, who shot the 3-ball well in the 1st half, and broke down Bradley's defense with good passing in the 2nd half to get to the basket over and over and build a double-digit lead.
Final score- SIU 73 Bradley 63

Terrific game by Rienk Mast with 24 points and 10 rebounds. Sean East had a nice game with 16 points, 2 rebounds, and 4 assists.

Anyone have a link to WMBD radio so I can listen to coach? I can’t get it to play on their site

I don't care if i ever see mcadoo play for bu again as well as Antonio...

I also don't get how when mast was setting screens and popping the guard(ville, at, mcadoo) would just go right into 2 defenders and either turn the ball over or throw up a terrible shot.

Also might i add how annoying it was that the tv announcers kept acting like siu had it bad with injuries. Hello bu has there entire starting 5 and 6 man out for 1 reason or another...

Well I think East, Henry, and Mast are three obvious starters next year. Hopefully Boya is healthy, but don’t know if he and Mast can play at the same time. So you need two starters to be competitive and they both need to shoot well and play defense. Basically we need a better/less selfish version of Terry Nolan. Ville has to get much quicker on both ends or he is just a bench player. Kent and Hannah need to improve a lot to be more than bench players as well, though I like their potential. Linke seems like a solid backup 4/5 for the future. I’m just not a fan of McAdoo’s game at this point, don’t think he brings much on either end. At least Thomas gives effort. It’s not like McAdoo makes a ton more shots than him for all the criticism Thomas gets.

I doubt Nolan or McAdoo return. If Boya and Mast can’t play together then Boya doesn’t need to play.

Well think about this. The team started going downhill when boya went out. I love Mast potential but lets be real he ain't a no.1 type guy. Still good enough to be a future 1st team all valley but not to have the offense run thru him imo.

Oh I assume Nolan is gone due to off the court issues, I don’t know about McAdoo though. I was just meaning we need that three and D wing that Nolan was supposed to be, but wasn’t.

as far Boya and Mast, very few college teams play two pure post type 5 men. Would Boya or Mast guard the 4 (Childs type) on the other teams? They are both valuable, but share the same spot unfortunately. Neither are quick enough to guard 4s I don’t think.
