Good luck. It seems odd that none of Mediacom's packages have FoxSports Midwest.

The ISU beat writer, Jim Benson, has a good article about the MVC Tournament and the status of some of the injured players-

Note that the yearly awards will be announced over the next few days-
The MVC will announce the all-conference teams along with specialty award winners at 10 a.m. Tuesday. Loyola senior center Cameron Krutwig is expected to receive the Larry Bird Trophy as the league's most valuable player.
The All-Bench and Most Improved teams will be unveiled Wednesday while the Scholar-Athlete and Coach of the Year awards are set for Thursday.

Childs second team, which is disappointing since he was fast on his way to the first team. Mast all freshman team.

Is there any chance that Henry will NOT be the Valley 6th Man of the Year?
I don't see how unless his injuries lost some of his credibility.

Edit: Ok - now I see they've already done this award. I can't argue about the "Yes" man getting it, and with Drake's success.

I'm surprised Ja'Shon was not 3rd team, but he went through a lot this year, and likely an 8th/9th place team will not bring home a lot of hardware! He'll get on the All-bench team at least.

He doesn't deserve 1st team for getting himself in that mess. Sorry for being blunt, but he didn't finish strong.
I wish him the very best going forward!

A hearty Congrats to the Dutchman, Reink Mast! He really showed steady improvement, especially thinking back to the first few games he played where he looked really lost! We have a bright future with Mast and the 2 other freshmen!

I agree, which is why I said it was disappointing since he was on his way there.

From the Bradley Scout sports editor-

Coach Wardle said today that Ja'Shon Henry continues to wear the boot on his foot and ankle and is "highly, highly unlikely to play this weekend".
He also said that Ville Tahvanainen, who missed the last game with an illness and Kevin McAdoo, who missed the game with a wrist injury, missed practice today, but will probably be cleared to play by the tournament games.

We have Directv and I don’t see any channel listed as carrying the Thursday game. I know I can get the game on my computer on ESPN+ but I think having to pay to watch the MVC tournaments on my COMPUTER is an insult to the Bradley fans.

Hey Old Guy, according to the Directv channel guide (https://www.directv.com/guide), you can get the Bradley-SIU MVC Tournament game (and all the Thursday & Friday games) on Directv channel 671, which is FoxSports Midwest. But there are several other channel 671's, and the game will be on a couple other of those channels as well, including FoxSports Indiana (671-4) and FoxSports Kansas (671-5)-

Currently, it is listed as College Basketball - Teams TBD (but it will be the BU-SIU game)

Also, it looks like it will be on Directv channel 665-2, which is NBCSports Chicago PLUS There are several channel 665's, but one or more of them must be their NBCSports Chicago PLUS channels and show the MVC Tournament at 5:00 pm Central Thursday.-

So I hope you and everyone else with Directv can get the game. It looks like you should be able to if you have a package that has those channels in the 660-670's range.

Hey Old Guy - if you don't have a smart tv, you can get a firestick, appletv, chromecast, or any number of other devices that give you the ability to use the ESPN+ app from them so you don't have to watch from your computer when you use it in the future. I wouldn't want to watch games on my computer! That would be horrible!
                    Larry Bird
I've got a theory that if you give 100 percent all of the time, somehow things will work out in the end.

So we're looking at maybe 7 guys (I'm assuming that either Ville or Kevin will not be good to go) available to play from Thursday to whenever. I can't see us even hanging in the 2nd game with such a depleted roster!

You may be right.... but last Saturday night was a reminder of why we watch these games even when on paper it looks grim.

One thing we've done well under Wardle is win in St Louis!

Even 4 yrs ago with Dante Thomas (then a Jr), we won the 1st round game vs Drake, and then that epic finish (Dante's put-back with 1 sec left) to beat Drake again.
And we've won our 1st game every yr since (beat Mo St / SIU in 1st round the last 2 seasons in very tight games)

Let's keep that streak going on Thursday! Would be a nice way to finish the season (1 more win!) cause we sure as heck ain't gonna be any match for the Ramblers on Friday! (hopefully this is a jinx statement!!)

I'm totally baffled. This is usually one of the biggest days for Braves fans every year and not even 1 post all day about today's game!
What gives? I guess not many are hopeful, and maybe the excitement has dwindled since nobody is attending in person this year.

                                Go BRAVES!!
