Anyone hear an update on JaShon's injury? I sure hope he's ok and will be ready to play on Thursday

The boot and crutches sure didn’t look great. I’m assuming some kind of ankle sprain?

I think you're right BUfan39. Pretty sure it was a high ankle sprain from what JaShon was doing after it happened. If that is the case, he's probably done for the year, unfortunately. High ankle sprains are no joke.

I've got a theory that if you give 100 percent all of the time, somehow things will work out in the end.

The report from the postgame show was that Ja'Shon "turned his ankle". In other words, an ankle sprain. But there can be different degrees of an ankle sprain, including the most severe type where there is tearing of the lateral ankle ligament or even a piece of bone from the end of the fibula (smaller of the two lower leg bones) that is broken off. That most severe form requires several weeks in a boot for healing. Hopefully, it is not that severe.
The team doctors are probably evaluating it with an MRI, and they will decide over the next couple days if he can play Thursday.
Though he had the boot on and was given crutches, the video stream showed him walking without the crutches but with a limp later in the game in team huddles and celebrating with the team on the court after the game ended.
For anyone who wants to watch the game again, here is the video replay-
            https://www.espn.com/watch/player/_/...4-ce8fbb4cf9a4

To see Ja'Shon walking without crutches, move the video ahead to the end of the game at about 2:09:00 and watch for a minute or so.

I realize that Drake was missing two of their best players, but for most of the game Bradley was missing 7. After the first 9 minutes, we had only 6 (scholarship) players available. At the end of the game we were two fouls away from having to play two walk-in’s. For Bradley to win that game was almost unbelievable.

It may not matter much in the end, but that OT loss to Valpo sure hurts at the moment. If we got a sweep against UNI too, we would be in the 4/5 game.

I am not worried about the final results this weekend. I am excited with what was proven on Saturday night about the tenacity and coachability of our young core. If allegations regarding suspended players clear up for them to make a return to the team in the future, that is icing on the cake assuming they support the culture. But overall I see a bright future with this staff and remaining players.... and that's how I'm going to approach this weekend: supporting what remains and cheering them on.
                  Compete. Defend. Rebound. Win.

SIU head coach Bryan Mullins announced that leading scorer Marcus Domask will not play in Thursday's game against Bradley and is out for the entire MVC Tournament. He last played January 4 against Drake, and has missed the Salukis' last 14 games.

Domask did not play in either of the two games against Bradley, Feb. 6 & 7, which the teams split in Peoria.

On the coaches teleconference call today, Wardle said that Henry will be getting x-rays today and did not have any additional updates. And Mullins confirmed that Marcus Domask is out for Arch Madness.

                            They have a channel-finder website- https://mediacomtoday-lineup.com/

I entered your zip code, and it looks like there are 3 different packages that are available.
I hope you have the high-end package (Variety TV), because the other 2 packages don't have the sports stations.
NBCSportsChicago Plus is channel 732 for you.

For people who cannot get NBCSports Chicago Plus, or FoxSports Midwest, we will probably be able to find alternative options that I can post before game time.

Thanks. I do have the Variety package. Mediacom's channel guide leaves a lot to be desired. It says channel 732 will be "Off-Air", but I am recording it anyway.
