That might be the most improbable win I have ever seen. I am SO happy for our guys, to pull that out. Congratulations, guys!

I think AT was reading the boards. Man did he make us eat our words by coming through with all the FT's tonight!

And let's be honest, who thought we had a chance to win after JaShon went down? WOO! What a great way to finish off the season!

I've got a theory that if you give 100 percent all of the time, somehow things will work out in the end.

Fantastic effort by the Braves. Bradley beats Drake 67-61-

Again, Drake played only 7 players, with the exception of one Drake player who was inserted with 1 second left. And their starters played 186 of the 200 total player minutes. So fatigue may have played a part in Drake's sub-par game. Drake was just 2-17 from three.
But the story was Bradley's terrific effort by guys who don't get the chance very often. Antonio Thomas didn't shoot well, but he was 7-8 on FTs down the stretch and he had 11 points, which was huge. Sean East was 4-4 in the final minutes. Jayson Kent was terrific with 15 points on 5-9 from three. The rest of the team was (1-12). And Connor Linke played good defense, had 5 rebounds, and a key block.

Bradley knocks Drake out of the championship, but unfortunately, because Valpo, Evansville, and UNI all won tonight, Bradley finishes 8th, and gets the #8 seed for the MVC Tournament.

Bradley will play SIU in the #8-#9 game at 5:00 pm Thursday. The winner will play the #1 seed Loyola at 11:00 am Friday-

Only 9 turnovers and 14 assists and 13-15 from the FT line was certainly part of the reason we won this game. But I have to believe that their attitude and next man up mentality was just as much of a reason why we won it. Hope they will continue with this in St Louis on Thursday night against SIU and kick some Saluki ass!

A lot of people have AT leaving but he showed a lot of leadership out there tonight and looked like a big part of this team. I think Bradley would be well served to keep him around as a backup point guard.

On the post game show you could just hear in Wardle's voice just how proud he was in the guys effort tonight. Despite everything that's been thrown at them this team kept fighting and got rewarded for their hard work and effort in this game.

I have though so, too, but we also need shooters. I have confidence the coaches will figure out what to do with the roster for next season.
AT has the second best assists/turnover ratio on the team (26/18 ), second to Sean East (84/36).

Great effort and the most fun I’ve had watching this year! I still think there are some high level valley pieces here if we supplement them with guys that can contribute the next two classes. Next year might not be great, but hopefully middle of the road, and then those next two years could be good.

AT is not a bad guy to have on a roster as a second/third PG, but he really needs to work on his shot to deserve significant minutes (tonight’s gutsy effort at the free throw line not withstanding). The defense sags off him majorly and really clogs the offense up.

One other point I wanted to bring up, the lack of available players meant not as frequent substitution by default. I brought this up earlier this year, I think the constant subbing Bradley does doesn’t allow players to get in rhythm and feel comfortable. Not that I’m saying playing 6 players is the answer on a normal night, but less quick subbing I think would help
