SIU's Marcus Domask might possibly play tomorrow against Missouri State, according to coach Bryan Mullins-

Domask has not played since January 4, in the second of back-to-back games at Drake. However, the next 3 weeks after that game, SIU was shut down due to Covid. Domask's injury was not revealed until January 25, prior to a game at Indiana State.
Domask was said to have a foot injury, but no other details about the injury or when he first began having symptoms have been released. He has been wearing a boot on the foot, and used one of those rolling scooters for the first couple weeks, but now is walking and has been practicing. The tweet above says he is continuing to have pain in the foot.
A stress reaction in a bone would explain such a course, but that was never confirmed. Even if there is healing, injuries to the bone such as a stress reaction or stress fracture continue to be painful for a very long time, and make it difficult for an athlete to play at his usual level. Plus, there is always a risk of reinjury.

Did anyone else see the end of this game? It was close with Loyola leading 54-52 in the final seconds as Valpo had the ball. They appeared to score the tying basket on a rebound of a missed shot, but official Gerry Pollard called a foul on the Valpo player who rebounded and scored. Even on replay, it did not look like there was much of a foul. Considering how much contact there is under the basket on rebounds, especially in the crucial final seconds of a game, you almost never see a foul called. But Pollard whistled Valpo and it assured Loyola of the win.
In the other game, Missouri State jumped out to a 14-0 lead over SIU, and now leads 36-22 at halftime-
