Ville Tahvanainen lead Bradley with 13 points, Darius Hannah had 10, Sean East had 8, and Jayson Kent had 7.
Rienk Mast had Bradley's first 5 point of the game in the opening 90 seconds of the first half, but then failed to score after that. But, he lead Bradley with 7 rebounds. Bradley had 22 rebounds to 32 for MSU. It was a good effort, but from what I saw of our young players, Bradley needs to recruit and develop bigger, stronger inside players along with better perimeter shooters to stay competitive in the Valley in future years.

I don’t understand why we can’t get out and rotate faster on the 3! This isn’t the first time this has happened in games this year. I know we were short handed tonight but this isn’t the first time this has happened... I will say our freshman competed hard but just overmatched.

Proud of the effort from our eligible players. Proud of Coach Wardle sticking to his principles and making sure those 4 young men understand that it’s a privilege to play at Bradley. I’m disappointed in those 4 but hopefully they are more disappointed in themselves and what it cost the team. They had better learn that lesson or move on elsewhere.

GREAT to see Sean East back on the court and contributing in limited minutes.
By far our best PG and the offense just flows more or less when he touches the ball.

I really hope we know how valuable this kid is for us as a sophomore - IMO the best part of this season is seeing East’s consistency (minus a 2-game stretch) and then his return tonight.

Ville and Hannah played very well.

Great effort all around and really we could have lost by 40 with such a depleted roster.

Yes, East if by far our best chance for a good point guard. It was nice to see Thomas hit a shot or two yesterday, If he can do that he is a decent backup PG. McAdoo isn’t a good enough decision maker or quick enough in his decisions to run the team. I think that showed yesterday. I don’t think he’s a point guard.

              Totally agree with ya BUfan14.
McAdoo is a great bench player, but if we get to the point where he is a regular starter (looking at his game right now), garnering 25+ min. per game - with all our other options, we're in big trouble.
I'd like to see him get 10-15 min. per game (along with Kingsby) once we get our "Fantastic 4" back. LOL

                  Agree, Mike.
There isn't much else to say. Today's game was almost a carbon copy of yesterday's 80-58 loss.
Final score today- Missouri State 72 Bradley 57-

There were brief stretches where Bradley looked good, but overall, Missouri State was in control nearly all the way. When they weren't scoring easy baskets inside, they were hitting threes from all over the court. Isiaih Mosley was the top scorer with 27 points on 10-16 shooting (5-5- from three). And Gaige Prim dominated inside with 20 points on 9-12 shooting, and 8 rebounds.

I figure that if we take those two guys away from Missouri State, Bradley might have won 57- 25.

Another loss but the effort was there today. To much to ask from all of our freshman and sophomores.

Exactly right! These kids have a bright future and showed a lot of heart today. The shooting was pretty poor at 40% from the field and 32% from 3’s, but then, you can’t expect much with the limited practice and playing time they’ve all had.

Mast had a huge day, but asking a freshman to guard Prim is probably not going to end well. Curious how SIU’s Filewich handles him as he appears to be quite a stud freshman.

I've got a theory that if you give 100 percent all of the time, somehow things will work out in the end.

I thought we played better today, though Hannah was really off.
if he happened to play decent, we may have lost by 7 or 8.
That was a moral victory in my eyes, and East had a nice game on both ends, getting back to his form!
