Drake falls out of AP Top 25, but Loyola moves in

Last week was the first poll this season that included an MVC team, but it only lasted one week. Drake's first loss of the season at Valparaiso causes them to drop out of the AP's Top #25 where they were #25 last week. Drake (18-1) received 16 votes in the "Others Receiving Votes" in this week's poll, and would now rank #36 based on vote count.

Loyola (17-3) moved into the Top 25 at #22 this week. They have won 10 in a row and 14 of their last 15 games.

For the first time in a couple years, ESPN's Joe Lunardi has 2 MVC teams in his Bracketology.
He has Loyola (as a #8 seed) and Drake (as a #11 seed) in his Bracketology projection that was updated this morning-
