...has anyone seen Rashad Austin? Is he on campus?

Probably not yet.

"It's an administrative nightmare," BU coach Jim Les said. "The bottom line is he can't be enrolled in the university until (Bradley) has a final transcript. We're hoping it's done by the end of the week and he can be here Sunday or Monday."

Austin's academic record is complicated by the fact the Californian also has taken classes at Chaffey (Calif.) College the last two summers. Bradley is awaiting Austin's grade transcripts from both Northeastern and Chaffey.

Fall semester classes begin next Wednesday at BU.

"We may have to push him back (for an arrival a couple of days later) if it can't be done," Les said.

Which was why I said.... when he gets here, he doesn't have to be here for any specific "orientation" - he can get his own orientation, and if needed he can get here even a little later (after classes begin) and let his advisors get his notes.

But then again, Squirrel let us know there is an 'out-of-towners' orientation starting just before this weekend.

Is Austin on campus yet? School starts on Wednesday.

Anyone concerned yet? Illinois is just now finding out that Quinton Watkins isn't going to qualify, and I am sure they did their due dilligence. It's situations like that which have me concerned about Rashad Austin.

Yes, but the last out of town orientation is for freshman only. All JUCO transfers have a seperate orientation that takes place (and is optional) either the day or two before classes start or the day or two after.
