Was thinking the same thing. Hope it doesn't impact us.

This does pose a serious concern for Bradley. Unfortunately, not enough information has been released publicly to know the extent of the exposure.
We don't know which of Evansville's "tier 1 personnel" have tested positive. Was it a player or someone else who would have had repeated close exposure to Bradley's players? Or was it someone who would not have had close exposure to the Bradley team? Was it a single person, or multiple individuals? The reports concerning whether it was one or multiple people testing positive are ambiguous.
The MVC article and the Evansville article state, "due to positive COVID-19 test results among Evansville's Tier I personnel", while the Evansville Courier & Press article states, "UE announced Tuesday afternoon it has paused men's basketball activities because of a positive COVID-19 case among its Tier 1 individuals".
Which is it? Were there multiple positive tests? Or was there a single case?

And according to the Evansville Courier & Press article, the positive test result(s) were announced early this afternoon. It would be much more informative to know when the test was taken. Knowing when the results were released to the public is rather meaningless. In all likelihood, a positive test result being released this afternoon represents someone who had their test done this morning or yesterday and who was infected with the virus and capable of spreading the disease for days prior to the positive test report. Evansville was in Peoria from last Friday through Sunday, and had multiple long periods of exposure to the Bradley team.

Obviously, nothing can be done now to reverse the exposure, but the Bradley team will have to be observed more closely and probably undergo more frequent testing for the next few days. We can only hope that Bradley dodged a bullet.
