Note that he reports this about the positive Covid test in the Evansville tier 1 personnel:
It was not believed to be a player who was infected, as of Tuesday evening.

That would be good news, if true. I am not sure why this kind of info is kept at such a high level of secrecy. This doesn't violate any privacy laws.


One other interesting bit... Dave mentions that Illinois State does not have any seniors on their roster this season. That is true, but if not for all the players who left or chose not to play, they would have had a ton of seniors. Here are some of them-
Taylor Bruninga would be in his senior season of eligibility, but chose not to continue playing basketball due to injuries
Matt Chastain would also be in his senior season of eligibility, but chose not to continue playing basketball due to injuries
Keith Fisher would also be a 5th-year senior, but he opted out of playing this season
Christian Romine, a transfer from UTEP, would be a senior this season, except he left the team then eventually transferred.
Luke Litwiller, originally a walk-on player who eventually was given a scholarship, he left the team
Isaac Gassman, also a walk-on, then on scholarship, but left the team and transferred. This would have been his senior season.
Elijah Clarance was a highly touted recruit who left to play professionally in Europe. This would be his senior season, too.
Josh Jefferson is currently a senior at Wisconsin-Green Bay. He left the ISU team after the 2018-19 season.
Lijah Donnelly played at ISU and would have been a senior this season, but he left after last season to transfer and play elsewhere.

Watched the rebroadcast of the Indiana State / Illinois State game. The Redbirds are pretty athletic and caused problems for the Sycamores when they pressed them. The "Birds" did not look good in their half court offense, but they can shoot the three. Evansville (on the other hand) did not look athletic at all against our Braves over the weekend. Expect us to have a tougher game tonight against the quicker Redbirds. Also noticed that ISU's center is a bit of a hothead, seemed to get frustrated easily. Sometimes barking at fellow teammates when they make a mistake.

Maybe since Marquee Network acquired the broadcast rights in our area, it's possible ESPN3 might get blacked out. We'll know at 8:00 pm.

Unless I'm missing something, the idea of Regional Blackouts seem terrible antiquated in the digital streaming age. It's awfully frustrating to pay for ESPN+ and whatever weird service the Xavier Invitational was on and I still can't get some games. I wish they would do away with this Blackout nonsense.

Any alternative options for viewing would be greatly appreciated Da Coach!
