Wow....if you would have told me the Braves would only hit 3 treys for the game with Aces hitting 14 treys I would have assumed a Loss. Nice win...take it easy on the fouls for Sundays game with the same refs!

Thought we played well in spots, especially rebounding on both ends and our inside game on offense. Our turnovers along with them making enough 3's allowed the Purple Aces to keep it close. I'm not quite sure I've seen a team be this 3 centric in the Mo Valley before as Evansville was 14-34 from 3 and just 6-19 from 2. Also not sure I've ever seen a team just get 5 rebounds in a half before. Our defense did hold them to just 3 points in the last 4:00. Hopefully tomorrow's game will see us take care of the ball better, don't let them go off from 3 and keep pounding it in the paint.

Samari Curtis, sophomore transfer from Nebraska, is Evansville's 4th leading scorer and a 41% shooter from three. He did not play in yesterday's game, and is not dressed and will not play in today's game. It is rumored to be an injury and he is day-to-day.

Just reading Dave Eminian's article about today's game. Good article, but he said this (near the bottom)-
Bradley was playing at home in its reds for first time since Feb. 8, 1975 vs North Texas, when the opponent showed up without its road uniforms. It was also the first time for BU playing at home in non-white uniforms since a blackout game vs Illinois State Feb. 10, 2010.
The statement about being "the first time for BU playing at home in non-white uniforms since a blackout game vs. Illinois State Feb. 10, 2010" is not quite accurate.
Bradley wore pink uniforms for a home game in Carver Arena on February 16, 2013 against Indiana State.
It was a special, one-time Breast Cancer Awareness promotion. The uniforms were auctioned off in a silent auction conducted during the game, and given away to the highest bidders for each uniform.-
PEORIA, Ill. ? Freshman point guard Ka'Darryl Bell scored all of his career-best 10 points in the final 6:54, helping Bradley pull away for an 80-68 victory versus Indiana State Saturday afternoon.
PEORIA, Ill. ? "Go Pink, Go Bradley" will be the theme when both the Bradley men's and women's basketball teams wear pink uniforms in tribute to breast cancer survivors during selected home games.
Here is a complete history of all the times Bradley has worn alternate colored uniforms (color other than red or white)-

Really improved our efficiency on offense, just 6 turnovers, was really active, especially in the first half, on defense and looked in mid season form. Evansville looked a step slow and put us to the Ft line 23 times, we made 20, and they just never got it going on offense, 9-27 from 3 and 8-22 from 2. We led the whole way and had 14 assists and 9 steals. Eli has scored in double figures in all 13 games this year, he had 10 in this one. What I really liked was that after he scored our first 2 in the game we outscored them 38-17 in the next 14:00 without him scoring. Don't want that to happen too often but at least it shows that we don't have to rely on him to score. Let's take this attitude on the road down I74 on Wednesday! ONWARD!
