  • This Season - For What it's Worth

It's a shame that we had to go through that nearly 3-week lapse without a game. I'm glad we responded well in Cedar Falls, but it certainly hindered the team's progress from when we played at Mizzou.

Whatever happens this season, we should stay positive.
The newcomers this season are bright spots for sure, with Mast, Nolan, and West doing well.
Then we have 2 very good looking freshmen who should make strides into next year.

I know we wanted a great season for Eli Childs, who is having a season that we all expected so far, but Covid may put a damper on it and we don't know what to expect in the 2nd half of an already BIZARRE season.

It's great to see the talent and depth of this team and the core guys will be here next season, which hopefully will seem more like a normal season!

Still nice we get to watch our Braves - it's an exciting team this year and in my belief, the best team talent-wise we've had since the Sweet 16 team.

    Go BRAVES!!!

Good comments. Just as with the pro sports this year, unfortunately with all the challenges there are.... this is a season of compromised importance and legitimacy. It's not a "write-off" year, but it's not a fully legitimate year either. We can't even go to games for example, and that takes away a huge part of the game both for players and fans.

What we would be wise to do is try to think of any game & any win this year as a "bonus" rather than something being lost. I'll keep trying to get there mentally.

For example, due to scheduling conflict last night, my teenage daughter and I could not watch the game live. However we watched it together late at night and made a great memory.
    Compete. Defend. Rebound. Win.
