Evansville was ahead by 10 points early in the first half, but then Belmont outscored them by 19 the rest of the way to halftime. Halftime score:

Prior to tonight's games, the MVC was a combined 27-1 so far at home this season.
Unfortunately, the one loss was South Dakota State's win in Peoria.

SIU is looking very good now. I still think they will be higher in the valley than most folks thought.

Belmont beats Evansville 72-63. Nebraska transfer Samari Curtis became eligible for Evansville this game.
He came off the bench and had 19 points in 17 minutes of play.
SIU is shooting 57% for the game and is leading Butler by 4 late in the 2nd half.
Marcus Domask has 22 and Trent Brown has 17 points so far for SIU-

SIU knocks off Butler on their home court 76-73. They lead by as many as 18 points in the 2nd half, but Butler came back and had a shot at the buzzer to tie, but it missed. A terrific win for the Salukis and for the MVC.
