With the exception of a couple of our games against non D1 competition, I have noticed that so far we seem to play up or down to our competition.
For instance, squeak out 1-2 point wins against Toledo and Miami OH but then go and fall just 1point short in true road games at top 25 competition????
Are we playing up and down to competition level, or are there just not as big of differences in these teams as you traditionally think, particularly since it is early season? Or is it some of both? If we play to competition, that is a mental issue and could be fixed.Compete. Defend. Rebound. Win.

But if last year is any indication, I think it might be lower that 140. Here are the scores last year-
2/1/20 at Loyola- Loyola 61 Bradley 52 - total 113
2/29/20 in Peoria- Loyola 67 Bradley 66 - total 133

Loyola averages 78.2 ppg, but that is skewed by their game against Chicago State when they scored 88, and their game against St. Francis U. where they scored 92. They are a very good defensive team. Their defensive average is 62.0 ppg. Bradley averages 74.9 ppg (skewed a bit by the 105 points against Judson and the 95 against Lewis). And, Bradley's defensive average is terrific at 59.3 ppg.
I am no gambling expert, but judging from the 2 teams' prior over/under lines, where the teams recent scores have been, and the fact they are both very good defensive teams, the line could be somewhere in the low to mid 130's.
