Maybe it's just me, but Boya seems to be going backwards on his game. I would start Mast over him when he is getting better rebounding, and setting screens already without trying to block every shot around him or still getting way too many moving screens like Boya. Boya also only seems to score on a dunk as all other shots seem rushed.

Mike - I was thinking the same thing during the game, though in Boya's defense, he had 8 boards in 13 minutes. That being said, he looked about a foot taller than everyone on Jackson St. (yes, that's hyperbole, but you get the point)!

So glad Eli got to 10.

Would be great if he scored in dubb-dig's in every game this season - to match his number.
Wonder when the last Brave to do that was.
Might be tough with all the depth we have and Childs getting double-teamed so often.

Ville with another 3x 3-ball game!
He's going to shatter BU record book from behind the arc.

I am rooting for Ari Boya. He is a super good guy and has one of the best baSketball bodies to ever put on a Bradley uniform. Potential is high, but time is short. We need him to Work hard, listen well to his coaches and learn efficiently...he has always been a decent shot blocker. He has pretty good hands. I have seen some real improvement on aggressiveness in rebounding and winning the ball this year... if we can get him to use his feet more on D, block the ball without swiping his arm down (go straight up man!), and add 1-2 effective post moves on the other end then LOOK OUT VALLEY. It’s not an easy task to come to a foreign country and play a game you didn’t grow up with, but I believe he’s up to it.

Ja'Shon - albeit vs weaker competition - just seems to be getting better with time.
He was already pretty solid as a sophomore, but I think he's stepping up his game this year, and being more aggressive with the ball!

Henry probably my favorite player to watch since 2000 (in all honesty).
And watch out - #4 Nolan adds a level of excitement to the team!

Something good happens nearly every time Ja'Shon Henry makes an aggressive move toward the basket. It's either a foul or a made shot. I feel he could even be one notch more selfish, frankly and we'd benefit. We've got a lot of good going on right now.

I enjoyed watching the game and thank Da Coach for his post with all the information I needed to try and view it online. I listened to Snell after the game of course. We have some good speed in the new guards. I thought Boya looked really "muscled up" and seems to be more comfortable out there on the court this year. Although we won handily, we are going to have to play better to match the Valley teams. We had too many turnovers. I love the depth of the bench and the scoring we got from the bench. We have a deep team this year. I think we will be ok even tho DB is gone. I am looking forward to the season. Our Braves could be really good.

It's early, but from what I'm seeing so far, I would not be surprised to see Nolan in the discussion for 1st team All-Valley and maybe even player of the year. It's early yet, so things could change, but that kid does EVERYTHING well.

Agree with the points made on JaShon. Guy is an absolute beast and is a football player on a basketball court. He is literally unstoppable when he decides to take it to the rim, the choice is let him dunk it or foul him, so let's hope he's been working on his free throw game because he's going to get a whole lot of them this year.
