The Illini missed a wide open 3 and the front end of 1 and 1 and then "Big Shot" Sam came through with 4 straight FT's in the last 20 seconds to help seal the deal! Warren led BU with 16, 4-8 from 3. Maniscalco was 9-9 from the FT line. Thanks Tommy for the channel to get me pumped up for the game tonight!
And this game, I was at the Civic Center watching it on tv with a group of BU fans. Any chance anyone else was there that day? That was really fun and exciting!Larry Bird
I've got a theory that if you give 100 percent all of the time, somehow things will work out in the end.

I do what I can Tommy! Just remembered there was a guy I know who went to that game in Vegas and won a couple grand. Just got done watching the Illinois/Arizona elite 8 game from the 04-05 season. Down 14 with 3:30 left and down 8 with 1:03 left the Illini came all the way back to tie it and then win it in overtime. That team was special. They only had 7 games out of 39 that were decided in single digits. If Scott May wasn't allowed to use his girth the Illini would have won the championship that year.

My wife and I were at both games. I bought two tickets from someone on this board. We would up sitting in the middle of Illinois fans both games. However, we got to know some of them the first night and they did not object us cheering for Bradley. I believe I still have the CD rom that game.

That team was a lot of fun to watch and that Arizona game is one of the most unbelievable college comebacks of all time. Also, do you remember how they spanked #1 ranked Wake Forest at the beginning of the year that year? My goodness that was a display of perfection on the basketball court that day.

Oh man, Jimmy. You ain't kidding, that might be the most impressive college basketball I've ever seen.
On a side note, I should have the 1982 NIT Finals against Purdue up on the channel by tomorrow.Larry Bird

1982 NIT Finals vs. Purdue is up, but it's giving me a copyright hit, though I think it's still viewable. If someone could tell me if it's available, I'd appreciate it.
