Updated power rankings hot off the press. Written while still dealing with the effects of the flu so.....just keep that in mind.

Power rankings after the first week of MVC play in the 2021-22 MVC men's hoops season.

Part three of my five part series looking at all of the league's top players by class is now posted. Take a look at the Missouri Valley's top ten juniors/third-year players below. Two Braves are featured.

The third in my five part series comparing the top ten MVC men's hoops players in each class. Part 3: Juniors.

My latest article features my take on the top ten seniors/fourth-year players in the league. But there are actually 21 guys featured total including five honorable mentions and six Belmont/Murray/UIC guys who would be in the top ten if they were in the MVC. Enjoy! Or don't!

Ja'Shon Henry is in the honorable mentions. Injuries probably kept him out of the top ten.

A look at the MVC's top ten fourth year men's basketball players in the 2021-22 season.

As we hit the (scheduled) midway point of the league season, I have a new batch of power rankings. I'll also take a look at who I think each team's second best player is. Would be curious to see what you think of my selection. I gave Roberts the #1 spot, but I haven't seen you all play a lot since Mast caught fire. Who do you think is your #1 guy right now?

Great article. Your BU assessment is great and I agree with you about Roberts and Mast, though honestly right now they’re 1 and 1A. They both will have to be considered for all-Valley 1st team if they keep up their current production. They both really do it all and do it all well. Haven’t been this excited about a Braves team since we won the tourney in 2019.

I've got a theory that if you give 100 percent all of the time, somehow things will work out in the end.

I agree 100% with this take. Roberts has been a stud all year, and Mast has evolved into one of the best players in the league.

The last of my five part series examining the top ten MVC men's hoops players by class. This list is for the super seniors.

The top ten super seniors in the MVC in 2021-22, with a few honorable mentions. Part five of five in the series.

Nice job. The fact that Bradley doesn't have any super-seniors and all 4 teams ahead of them rely quite a bit on them, gives Bradley fans a lot of optimism for next season.

However, with Henry's concussion problem, will any of our super seniors be back?

I agree. I watched the UNI-Bradley game and when they announced the starting lineups I was taken aback by how young ya'll are.

I spoke to a fan of each of the incoming schools to get the dirt on why we should be excited their school is joining the league next year. Here is part one focusing on Murray State, featuring @RacerJoeD.

Hear about what makes Murray State great from the perspective of a die-hard fan. First in a 3-part series featuring each incoming school.
