I believe Illinois State plays Ohio State tomorrow at 1 on ESPN. Be nice to see many Valley teams play tomorrow. Coach, thanks for all the information on all the teams. You do a great job!

Dan Muller must be wishing his team had opted out for the season. ISU now trails 19-0.

I've got a theory that if you give 100 percent all of the time, somehow things will work out in the end.

Bradley and Drake are winners today, Evansville and ISU lost.
Northern Iowa lost to Western Kentucky 93-87. UNI played well offensively, but their defense couldn't stop WKU. UNI was 20-39 from three- A.J. Green was 6-12, Sophomore starter Noah Carter was 9-13, and freshman guard Bowen Born was 3-7.
83% of their scoring was from those 3 players.

Something tells me Bruce Weber is going to stop playing MVC teams in the future!

The only other MVC game Thursday was Northern Iowa vs. St. Mary's.
UNI lost 66-64 and are now 0-2-
                    https://www.espn.com/mens-college-ba...meId=401256506

UNI lead most of the first half and had a 39-31 halftime lead. They expanded their lead to 16 points in the 2nd half and seemed solidly in control. But uncharacteristically for UNI teams, they proceeded to take some bad shots, made some unforced turnovers, and shot early in the shot clock which was just what St. Mary's needed to slowly come back. St. Mary's took their only lead in the 2nd half with 2 seconds left in the game to win 66-64. So UNI is 2-0 despite looking very good at times in both games, and shooting very well. They are shooting 55-114 (48.2%) overall, and 27-55 (49.1%) from three in the two games. But their questionable defense, turnovers (17 yesterday and 16 today), poor rebounding (they have been outrebounded by 19 rebounds in two games) and some bad decisions have them now at 0-2. Recall that they were 11-1 in their non-conference games last season.
One note: Senior starter Trae Berhow, who was their 2nd leading scorer (12.5 ppg) and top 3-point shooter (49.8%) last year, did not make the trip to Sioux Falls, SD and did not play in either game.
