Scout has a new Kyle Kuric article that appeared on--
www.insidetheville.com , which is the Louisville Scout site.
It may be a premium article, but here is the link--
It's interesting. It does not mention Bradley, so I assume Kuric has indeed dropped Bradley.
It does say this--
On the other hand, Kuric holds firm scholarship offers from Michigan, St. Louis and Southern Illinois. There???¬??s no doubt about it: John Beilein, Rick Majerus and Chris Lowry want Kuric in their programs a year from now.
In a nutshell, that???¬??s Kuric???¬??s dilemma. Will he pursue the opportunity to eventually earn a scholarship at an established, elite-level school like Louisville or accept the guaranteed scholarship Michigan, St. Louis and Southern Illinois offer?
???¬?I???¬??m not real sure about it,???¬?? Kuric admitted of Louisville???¬??s offer to walk-on and redshirt next season, then going on scholarship for the 2009-10 season. ???¬?I???¬??m not sure. I???¬??ll have to talk to the coaches about it more, get a better feel for the (situation) and ask some questions. We???¬??ve been talking about walking on and redshirting that first year and then getting a scholarship after that.???¬??
Kuric???¬??s visits are set. He???¬??ll visit Louisville September 6-8; Michigan Sept. 14-15; and St. Louis Sept. 28-29.
???¬?Those are the only three scheduled right now,???¬?? Kuric said. ???¬?I???¬??m probably going to take my fourth (official) visit to Southern Illinois and I haven???¬??t decided about (taking) a fifth visit.???¬?? Kuric said he???¬??s considering Indiana or Duke for his fifth visit.
So it sounds like SIU may be on the fringe right now with Kuric. But how about the suggestion in the article that getting to walk-on at such an "elite"-level program as Louisville should be more attractive to him than getting a scholarship to programs like Michigan, St. Louis, and SIU. That pretty well sums up the arrogance of those schools like Louisville. At least we don't see quite such arrogance from the Indiana fans regarding Matt Roth.
