Re: Matt Roth(stein) in Cream & Crimson?

As an Indiana fan, let me wish you guys the best of luck--with some other recruit! We want Matt Roth in cream & crimson!
Seriously though, no hard feelings if you guys snag him. Ok, well maybe a few hard feelings. Main thing is, you guys ever play Illinois? I'll root like hell for you.
Anyway, IU has a lot of love for Peoria, the home of Chris Reynolds.???People say, ???Forget last year', but I want our guys to remember that one, because that will not happen again. We will be much better.??? Geno Ford, 9/22/12

"Did you forget about AJ Guyton?"
To Big Mike: Oh God, no! I'm afraid I'm just showing my age. Chris Reynolds was just a couple years older than me, so he sticks in my brain more firmly than these young whippersnappers. But we LOVES us some AJ, no doubt. I can still hear the crowd in Assembly Hall chanting his name.
So you're right, we're seriously in debt to Peoria.I loved baseball ever since Arnold Rothstein fixed the World Series in 1919.

"I grew up with Chris all through grade school.....then my family moved out of district! He was always a class act!"
Shaunguth: that's cool. I've never heard a bad word about Chris Reynolds. (And trust me, as IU fans, we tend to vacuum up all the gossip we can find. Don't get me started on Pat Knight!) Chris was at MSU for a while doing some assistant AD work. Wisely, the IU administration brought him home. He's now an assistant AD of some sort at IU. If only your family had known...I loved baseball ever since Arnold Rothstein fixed the World Series in 1919.

The Indiana fans have been great......and we will support Matt either way.....it is his choice.......but the BU staff has been on Matt and even offered him a ride his freshman season......so I really hope the 3 years of follow-up are worth more than the 2 months you guys have been on him!

I didn't see this posted anywhere, yet. Excuse me if it has. It's the official announcement on the press conference in the PJ Star.--

PS...the discussion on the IU premium board about MR and his press conference is a hot topic, more than 50 responses,
and I suspect come 4:30PM (Central) they will be clogging the internet to see what we have to say about the press conference.

I've never had a problem with Bradley. Always considered them a midwest school like us that I rooted for in the tournament.
Bradley has also had their share of very good basketball teams. As I write this I have no idea who Roth will pick or has picked but he's a lucky kid no matter what."Daddy drinks because you cry." - IUT
