  • Matt Roth announcing decision today- 4:30 press conference

I had a customer who is from Washington come in today and he said Roth is going to make his announcement today at 4:30. Has anyone else seen that announced?

Previously it was said he would decide Thursday or Friday. If anyone else has any info, let us know where and when.

The Indiana insider fans list Matt Roth as their 2nd highest priority recruit, right behind 7-footer Tyler Zeller, for 2008.

(note--- I notice that some IU fans and other Big Ten fans are starting to find their way to the BradleyFans board and suddenly there are over 100 viewers online checking for news on Matt Roth.)

I THINK Da Coach is asking where the Journal Star is reporting this, and if not I am.

Actually, I wanted to know where the press conference was scheduled to be held. It makes sense that it's at the high school. Isn't this the first day of classes?

I will try to get there and report.

???It??™s awful hard,??™??™ said Illini freshman guard D.J. Richardson, the former Central High School guard who played prep school ball a few miles from here and fought back tears outside the locker room. ???It??™s a hometown thing. It??™s bragging rights.??™

Lots of IU fans here but none of them talking trash. IU fans could give kansas fans a lesson in civility.

If there happen to be an high ranking IU administrators checking about the site...how about we get the ball rolling on a home and home? Or maybe we can do one of those three game series with a "neutral" site (Springfield? Pekin?)

I see you guys are playing at Carbondale this year. Really though, Peoria is a much nicer trip. There's more to do and of course we have, ahem, "grown-up" entertainment options.

Plus we're pretty mediocore at home and the ice rink under our floor never melts making the floor all slippery.

Very funny. Neutral to Indiana means Indianapolis.

Matt Roth(stein) in Cream & Crimson?

                              Hey Bradley Fans,

As an Indiana fan, let me wish you guys the best of luck--with some other recruit! We want Matt Roth in cream & crimson!

Seriously though, no hard feelings if you guys snag him. Ok, well maybe a few hard feelings. Main thing is, you guys ever play Illinois? I'll root like hell for you.

Anyway, IU has a lot of love for Peoria, the home of Chris Reynolds.
I loved baseball ever since Arnold Rothstein fixed the World Series in 1919.
