2020-21 early signing period starts Wednesday, Nov. 11
Hickman's signing will leave at least one more recruit for spring whether high school, JC, or transfer. The last I have seen at recruiting from Wardle was a front court player, a power forward/center. However, I am sure that will depend on the quality of recruit available.
I have confirmed that Connor Hickman will be signing his NLI this week. That will be the only NLI the men's team will receive.
The Bradley women's team expects to get 5 NLIs for 2021 commitments in this week-long early signing period-
By Verbal Commitment date- Sept. 16, 2019- Caroline Waite- 5'4" point guard from Ames HS, Ames, Iowa- https://www.bradleyfans.com/forum/sp...273#post488273
PEORIA, Ill. -- Fifth-year Bradley Women's Basketball Head Coach Andrea Gorski made five additions to the 2021-22 roster during the Fall Signing Period with 5-11 guard Nika Dorsey (Detroit, Mich./Renaissance), 6-1 forward Abigail Draper (Waverly, Iowa/Waverly-Shell Rock), 5-7 guard Sasha Koenig (West Branch, Iowa/West Branch), 5-4 guard Caroline Waite (Ames, Iowa/Ames) and 6-2 forward Callie Ziebell (Sparta, Wis./Sparta) each signing National Letters of Intent to attend Bradley.
The EliteTeam is the 5 best players regardless of school size or class.
Caroline Waite averaged 22.6 points per game, and of course, she was also named to Class 5A All-Iowa team.
The other two Bradley commits from Iowa were also named to the All-Iowa teams
Bradley commit Abby Draper, a senior from Waverly-Shell Rock HS, was named to the Class 4A All-Iowa team.
And Sasha Koenig, a senior from West Branch HS was named to the Class 2A All-Iowa team. She is the sister of current Bradley junior Tatum Koenig. Sasha is one of the top scorers in Iowa girls basketball with an average of 20.6 ppg. Unfortunately, her West Branch team was upset and eliminated from the state tournament in the semifinals of Class 2A. https://wcfcourier.com/sports/high-s...64273f73f.html
Congratulations to all 5 of the Bradley 2021 recruiting class, and to Head Coach Andrea Gorski and the other coaches for what looks like a terrific recruiting class.
