That is really unfortunate, both for J.D.Muila and for the Salukis. They were counting on him to be their main guy at the 4-5 positions, and probably would have been a starter. Their only other true inside "big man", though he is only 6'7", is Sekou Dembele, but he is still experiencing effects from his broken leg he suffered in the game they played at Bradley last , and I hear he is quite limited.
They are suddenly very limited at the forward position. The only forwards they have left on their roster are- 6'6" sophomore Marcus Domask, who tends to play a lot around the perimeter as well as being the best rebounder they have, 6'9" freshman Kyler Filewich, who may not be ready for extended playing time in D1 yet, 6'7" senior Will Keller, who hardly ever plays (he is a walkon who played under 9 minutes total all season last year), and 6'8" grad-transfer Anthony D'Avanzo, a transfer from D2 Lewis, who is also more of a perimeter player, but he'll probably be forced to play a lot of the 4 or 5 position this season for Bryan Mullins.
