A Message From Dr. Chris Reynolds About Men's and Women's College Basketball Seasons |
Bradley Basketball Season-Ticket Holders, Bradley University is fortunate to have one of the greatest fan bases in all of college basketball and your unwavering loyalty is a key component to our continued success. As we all navigate such an unprecedented time in history, your support of Bradley Athletics is more crucial now than ever. Since the Braves walked off the Enterprise Center court in St. Louis with a second straight Arch Madness championship in March, the status of collegiate sports competition has been marked by questions. Today, the NCAA answered one of the most important questions: the official start date of the 2020-21 college basketball season. According to today’s announcement, college basketball is permitted to begin competition on Wednesday, Nov. 25. While we now know when the season is allowed to begin, there is still much work to be done before our schedules are announced. We recognize our fans have questions regarding the upcoming season and we would like nothing more than to answer all of your questions today. However, there remain a number of details and logistics to confirm in preparation for the upcoming season. We assure you that we are working diligently to complete that process as soon as possible and in the interim, we ask that you remain patient as we evaluate the impact of this new competitive start date, as well as details surrounding the safest and most-engaging environment for fans to enjoy the upcoming season with the Braves. We will be certain to share these details with you in the coming weeks, as soon as we are able to provide clear and definitive information, so that you are prepared to enjoy the season and cheer on your Bradley Braves. Thank you, and GO BRAVES! Dr. Chris Reynolds Bradley Vice President for Intercollegiate Athletics |
