BTW, there were 12 teams that won their conference tournaments and automatically qualified for the NCAA Tournament - Bradley (MVC), Belmont (OVC), Boston U. (Patriot), ETSU (Southern), Gonzaga (WCC), Hofstra (Colonial), Liberty (A-Sun), NDSU (Summit), NKU (Horizon), RMU (NEC). Utah State (MWC), and Winthrop (Big South).

Plus, there were 7 other teams that were arbitrarily designated by their conferences as their automatic qualifier after their conference tournaments were cancelled - Kentucky (SEC), Akron (MAC), Florida State (ACC), New Mexico State (WAC), Siena (MAAC), Vermont (Am. East), and Yale (Ivy).
