Website ranks the Top 10 best MVC coaches since 2000-

They have a little info about each coach, but for those who would rather just see a list-
10) Jim Les- Bradley (2002-2011)
9) Brian Wardle- Bradley (2015-2020)
8 )Chris Lowery- SIU (2004-2012)
7) Mark Turgeon- Wichita State (2000-2007)
6) Bruce Weber- SIU (2000-2003)
5) Ben Jacobson- UNI (2006-2020)
4) Porter Moser- Illinois State (2003-2007) and Loyola (2013-2020)
3) Greg McDermott- UNI (2001-2006) and Creighton (2010-2013)
2) Dana Altman- Creighton (2000-2010)
1) Gregg Marshall- Wichita State (2007-2017)
Nice to see 2 Bradley coaches on the Top 10 list, including Coach Wardle, who is still early in his career at Bradley.
It's hard to argue with the list, but 2 things that might be argued-
Chris Lowery did have 3 good years in his first 3 seasons after taking over in 2004 for Matt Painter (and previously Bruce Weber). He averaged 26 wins per year those first 3 seasons mainly with the players Weber & Painter recruited. His 4th season was slightly better than mediocre (18-15), but when he finally had to coach with his own recruits, his last 4 seasons were abysmal (averaged just 6 MVC wins per year over final 4 years.-

My other issue is with Porter Moser. He has had a nice 3-year run, and his recent success and his 2018 Final Four makes him deserving of being on the list, But, he was terrible his first 4 seasons in the MVC at Loyola. And the article also lists his 4 seasons at ISU (2003-2007) which were an utter failure. He was 51-67 overall at ISU, and 22-50 in the MVC while there. He never came close to a winning season in the MVC while at ISU. Even with his success in these last 3 seasons, his overall MVC record is only 89-109 (0.449).
