A very, very, early look at potential minutes per game for all the Braves. Obviously, seven of the players have yet to play a minute in a Bradley uniform. Total speculation based on what I know as of today. Here goes...
PG: East 20 Kingsby 8 Thomas 8 McAdoo 4
SG: McAdoo 16 Kingsby 14 Noland 6 Ville 4
SF: Ville 18 Noland 18 Hannah 4 Kent (RS)
PF: Childs 20 Henry 20
C: Boya 20 Childs 10 Mast 10 Linke (RS)
Total minutes per game (with last year's in parentheses): Childs 30 (30), Noland 24, Ville 22 (20), McAdoo 20, Kingsby 22 (26), Henry 20 (24), Boya 20 (10), East 20, Mast 10, Thomas 8 (10), Hannah 4. My reasons are as follows... Henry might actually have fewer minutes because Childs was injured this past season and Henry filled those minutes. Noland is rumored to be a great defender, team player and leader, can score, and has been in the program for a year- I expect big things from him. McAdoo can play both guard positions, can shoot, and has been in the program practicing with his teammates the past season (like Noland). Kingsby's minutes may drop because of the added depth at his position. East was most likely promised the opportunity to come in and compete for a starting position at PG. He won't be here long if he sits on the bench (after starting so many games last year at UMASS). I think Mast will get his minutes at C this next season because it will be the only opportunity for playing time. Henry and Childs have the PF minutes locked up. Thomas will need to improve his outside shot, otherwise East and Kingsby will get the PG minutes. Kingsby was at his best this past season when he filled in for DB at the point. I believe Linke and Kent will be ultimately redshirted solely based on our depth.
Early rotation...
I believe Kingsby (PG), McAdoo (SG), Noland/ Ville (SF), Childs / Henry (PF), and Boya/ Mast (C) will get the early minutes until the newcomers learn the system and grow their playing time. What do you guys think??
