NCAA to slash funding to Division I schools by $375 million

Ripple affect of not having the D1 NCAA Tournament...

And can someone like Da Coach share - doesn't each team that made the tournament also get a payment as well as their conference.. And this keeps on increasing as each team wins it's bracket. I am not sure exactly how this works..

This article summarizes the pool money that went to the teams (and their conferences) from last year's NCAA Tournament.
Each game played added $1.68 million additional to the amount earned.

Each conference has their own policy on how their money is shared. I believe the MVC divides it evenly between the 10 schools, except that the team (or teams) that played in the NCAA earns one extra share each.

I wonder how much this will affect Bradley's recruiting budget. It may be partially offset by less travel expenses for the staff and the number of recruits that will visit the campus.

It will affect every mid-major and lower-major school and every conference except the Power 5/BCS football conferences. Even the Big East, which doesn't have football, will suffer because of the lost revenue.
There will be a lot of schools that are hurt worse than Bradley. And, there may be other areas in the Athletic Department, not just basketball recruiting, that will be affected. There are also a lot of employees at Bradley who are also being affected since everything is shut down.

I sort of found what I was looking for. For each game in the 2019 NCAA Tournament that Bradley played they made $1,681,800.00.
This article provides the breakdown for each 2019 NCAA team and conference.

And the article also shared the "nice haul" that Loyola-Chicago was paid for the previous 2018 tournament year.

Last year, each unit was worth $273,500. For example, Loyola Chicago played in five games -- First Round, Second Round, Sweet Sixteen, Elite Eight and Final Four -- and earned five units. The five units are worth a total of $1,367,500, an amount due to the Missouri Valley Conference in each of the next six years (beginning in 2019).

Loyola Chicago's total haul for the Missouri Valley: $8,205,000. The conference -- and every other conference -- may distribute the money to their member institutions however they please.
