Sam and Matt in the same back court in two years with the system Bradley runs could be fun to watch. Here is what I hope Matt wants......great tradition.......great conference....mega fans that go crazy for BU every game.....family at every game......great Coach.....great education......life time Peoria hero......

I know IU is in the big ten and has great tradition but this is the best system and place for Matt!!!!!!

Here is one more factor for the Roths to consider.
Indiana is rated very high (# as one of the top party schools in the country for 2008. Illinois came in at #16.

It has been rated among the highest for many years, last year it was #6.
      Princeton Review, 2007

      They were #1 in 2002
From PJ Star sports expert Kirk Wessler in his Jan. 10, 2012 column following 8th loss in a row at Drake-
"Yes, the Braves are better than they were when the season started two months ago. By a light year or two, they??™re better."

And from the PJ Star 4/26/12, Dave Reynolds-
"Fields and Grier both appear to be difference makers. If Bradley continues to add the right players around them, happy days may be ahead for the Braves after a long dry spell."

I have been an MR fan since he started draining 3's as a freshman on the Panther's varsity team. He single-handedly brought Washington back from a double digit deficit against Lincoln in the supersectional game in 2005.....as a freshman. You could just tell he was going to be something special.

I know the allure of the Big10 (and the tradition of Indiana basketball) will be hard for him to pass up.....but I hope the desire to play close to home, to get a good education and have his legion of fans from Washington become supportive BU fans will be the key to him committing to the Braves.

As both a Washington alum and a BU alum, I wish Matt nothing but the best in his college career. However, my advice to him is simple.....

Stay home, Matt.....and play your college basketball for Bradley. You will achieve success in your personal life, as well as on the basketball court

        Once a Brave.....always a Brave!

here hear....I think you nailed it on the head. He would have (my guess) 200 Washington fans at every home game that might not have gone to a BU game otherwise.

JL will give him the green light from the moment he signs his LOI....Snell would probably create his own 3 call for MR.

IU and the B10 are quite a draw but once you get past that initial "allure" and look at the rest of the story BU would be his best fit. Biased or not.

Good luck Matt...we really WANT you to be part of the BU FAMILY.

Roth called the Billiken coaches on Monday and told them he won???‚¬?„?t become a Billiken. Roth is now down to Bradley and Indiana, recently made unofficial visits to both schools and could make his decision by the end of this week, Mattson wrote.

                    Done!

                    Matt on You Tube

The Indiana message board surely disrespects both Matt and BU:

                    Roth? Really???

wily, as an administrator, I was able to do it for you.

But it is easy as Mike Radigan says. Right click on any picture and select properties, and copy the URL (the internet address). Then go to your Profile (click the Profile link on the red banner across the top of every page), and scroll down to near the bottom where you can set your avatar. Right click on the box that says Upload Avatar from a URL, and click paste (or you can just type the URL into the box, but copy and paste is easier).

If anyone else has trouble with this, PM me, and I can do it for you. Also, there is a limit for the file size of a picture used for an avatar. So if you get an error message that you have exceeded the file size, the picture needs to be reduced. Use an image processing program, or again, PM me and I can do it for you.
