I thought I'd start a separate thread for Bracketology updates, although nothing is for sure until next Sunday's final Selection Sunday announcement. We'll try to update this daily.

March 8- ESPN- Joe Lunardi now has Bradley as a #14 seed playing #3 seed Michigan State in the South Regional (Houston). UNI is out.
Visit ESPN for live scores, highlights and sports news. Stream exclusive games on ESPN+ and play fantasy sports.

I think the #14 seed is probably accurate, though we can hope for a #13. But, I hope Bradley gets placed in the Midwest Regional, and specifically in St. Louis for the first weekend. Other #14 seeds- Belmont, Hofstra, Colgate

March 9- CBSSports- Jerry Palm just posted an update this morning. He has Bradley as a #13 seed playing #4 seed Butler in the first round, also in the South (Houston) Regional. He also has UNI out.
CBS Sports is helping you get ready for March Madness with the latest news, picks, and predictions for the 2025 NCAA Basketball Tournament Bracket.

Other #13 seeds- New Mexico State, North Texas, Little Rock

I really hope we don't get a rematch with Michigan State again as a 3-14 match up. No way that Izzo's crew doesn't come motivated to seek revenge for last year's scare.

A Bradley-Butler matchup would be nice. Butler Head Coach LaVall Jordan almost became an assistant coach at Bradley. Here is a little inside, never-told story about that....

In June, 2010 when Alvin Brooks left Jim Les' coaching staff, Bradley began a search for an assistant coach to replace him. LaVall Jordan applied and was interviewed. He had been an assistant at Iowa under Todd Lickliter, but was let go along with Lickliter in March, 2010. The coaching search was run by Joanne Glasser and Mike Cross, and Jim Les was not given any input until he was presented with a choice between the 2 finalists that were chosen by JG & MC. The 2 finalists were - LaVall Jordan and Willie Scott. Jim preferred Willie Scott, so he got the job. But Jordan was probably more qualified.

Izzo would lose his mind if he has to play us again. That guy has mid-major phobia like none other. He was so mad at the seeding last year.

NBC Sports also has Bradley as a #14 seed playing #3 seed Kentucky, but they are guessing it will be in Greensboro, NC (East Regional)

I think I would rather BU be a 15 seed and be in St. Louis (if possible), than be a 14 and have to travel to Cleveland or Greensboro. I would just like the BU faithful to be there in full force again.

Spokane would be a bummer for the fans who want to travel to see the game.

USA Today's latest bracket projection is the same as ESPN with #14 Bradley vs. #3 MIchigan State in Cleveland

A seed this bad shows no respect at all for the MVC anymore but at least you earned a ticket to the dance something our fans have not been able to sniff at during the past several Lansing years. Until a change is made in The Haute we still are a "No Contender".

They can give us a crap seed and watch us upset a team that thinks they can walk all over us. This team is going to win.

I've got a theory that if you give 100 percent all of the time, somehow things will work out in the end.

How ironic would it be if we were matched up with Butler? Kentucky is probably one of the hottest teams in the country right. I sure hope we're not matched up with them.

Yeah, I think you're right. This team could really make some noise. We were REALLY close to beating Izzo last year. And we are better this year. And we'll be even better next year than we are this year.

Its not just bias either, a lot of people noticed how good we are watching the game Sunday. Ive had Michigan State fans say they absolutely do NOT want to play us.

Are ANY of the bracket experts predicting UNI getting a berth? I really hope they do, but fear their first round loss in the tourney did them in.

I cannot find anyone who believes UNI will get a bid.

UNI should get in. They probably wont tho. They deserve a one seed in the NIT at worst and nothing but home games till the Garden.

Let's say Indiana, which finished 10th in their conference with a sub-500 record, loses its play-in or first round game in the Big 10 tournament. My guess is you would be able to find many who would still believe they should get a bid. I would pick UNI wayyyyy before the Hoosiers. I'm biased, but I believe our conference is very underrated and that its teams show that in almost every NCAA tournament despite horrible seeding. Unfortunately, our teams have no margin for error, and the Power 5 midlings can lose their way into the tournament.
