I have been to many games in Carbondale, and SIU has great fans. Their following has dwindled over the past few years, but the coaching change was a boost to their support, though it didn't help their attendance as much as I expected. They drew 4,596 per game this year, compared with 4,470 per game last year.
Their core fan base is very loyal and supportive, but they have a lot of fair-weather fans, too. And despite playing in an on-campus arena, not many students attend their games any more. But I think if Mullins can continue recruiting talent, those numbers will eventually rise. Tomorrow's game is important to their program to continue to rebuild, so no doubt they will be motivated and playing hard. They were one and done last year, losing a close game 61-58 to UNI in the Friday night quarterfinal round. They lead that game until A.J. Green won it with a shot with 12 seconds left in the game. That loss was followed immediately by Barry Hinson announcing his retirement as head coach.

Refer to the highlighted text below as well as the provided web link... As I recall and shown below - it can be confusing ..
I live in Colorado and was able to watch the Illinois State - Drake game on ESPN+ - likely because I am outside of the six-state RSN footprint. For Chicago refer to below for the other stations carrying the game..

And for today's Bradley March 6th game - here's a clue. Tune in to the Northern Iowa vs. Drake game that is played before the Bradley game - to assure that you have the correct channel and can receive the Bradley game.

The 2020 State Farm MVC Men's Basketball Championship -- the league's 30th-consecutive event in St. Louis -- on March 5-8 will feature nine games with the first six contests being shown on FOX Sports Midwest and NBC Sports Chicago.

In fact, The Valley will join the Big East (New York City) as the only Division I athletics leagues to conduct their men's basketball tournaments in the same city for 30 or more consecutive years.

The 2020 event will mark the 24th-straight year that FOX Sports Midwest-Indiana-Kansas City has distributed Arch Madness content.

Both opening-round games on March 5 and the first two quarterfinal games on March 6 will air on FOX Sports Midwest-Indiana-Kansas City, NBC Sports Chicago and The Valley on ESPN outside the six-state RSN footprint.

The remaining two quarterfinal games will be seen live on FOX Sports Midwest-Indiana-Kansas City and ESPN+ in the states of Illinois, Indiana and Iowa and on tape-delay on NBC Sports Chicago.

The semis on March 7 will be on CBS Sports Network, and the title contest on March 8 will air at 1 p.m. Central on CBS Sports for a 15th-consecutive season.

I am pretty sure it will be blacked out, BUT if you can wait (and avoid seeing the score during/after the game), it should in all likelihood be on REPLAY (Full game) on ESPN+...that's how it's been the past couple seasons, and was true for the late game last night (UE vs Valpo), as it was available to watch about 1/2 hour after it finished. Hope that helps! This is my plan, though ideally would love to watch it live!

Also, good advice given by GoBraves just above...
Tune into ESPN+ for the 1st game and if it's on, almost certain they'll show the Braves game Live too.
Keeping my fingers crossed...and for a Bradley Victory!

I hope they don't black it out in Chicago area!

TCB boys! Everyone in the Mo Valley thinks last years win was a fluke. Show them how sorry they should be for thinking that way. I expect SIU to play well today but we will pull it out in the last few minutes. Let’s do this boys! GET ER DONE!

                    Man I love this team.

I also love that we don't have to face UNI.

WOOOOOOOOO! What a hard fought gutsy effort from both teams. But once again we just found a will and a way to win! Next game will be tough but play with the same effort and we will find a way to win! GREAT JOB BOYS AND WAY TO GET ER DONE!

Just got back to our hotel in St. Louis, and I am not sure my heart rate has returned to normal yet.

What a game! Here are the final stats-

After poor shooting hindered the Braves for the first 30 minutes, they finally put together a bit of a scoring streak with good defense and pulled back to take the lead. SIU plays tough defense
And with clutch shooting, rebounds, and FTs (BU was 10-10 from the FT line in 2nd half) down the stretch, they hung on for one of the toughest wins all year.
Darrell Brown had 19 points & 8 assists and several clutch FTs late
Elijah Childs overcame a slow start to finish with 16 points & 9 rebounds
And Ville saved the day for BU with his 3 second-half three pointers.

Looking forward to playing Drake tomorrow for another chance to get to the final.

Almost like a heavyweight fight! Back and forth down the stretch. What a gut it out win. Let’s take care of business again tomorrow! Go Braves!

Key play of the game- Bradley finally takes the lead for good 61-59 with a terrific pass from Nate Kennell to Ja'Shon Henry who scores and is fouled.
                              https://twitter.com/FSMidwest/status...56859880144897

Ja'Shon made the FT, and 2 Darrell Brown FTs later, the final score is Bradley 64 - SIU 59

For those who want to watch this game again, it will be replayed at 9:00 pm Central on FoxSports Midwest after the St. Louis Blues hockey game.
