Javon Freeman-Liberty of Valparaiso missed the last 2 games of the season because of a diagnosis of mononucleosis. He has just been cleared to return to play in Arch Madness, and will play in their Thursday game against Evansville.

If there is one weak spot in the MVC Valley Tournament - this is it. It will be interesting if the Drake players can "keep their legs" and not

I agree with you Go Braves. Why they don’t play the play in games on Thursday in the afternoon. That’s definitely not enough time to get ready to play on Friday at noon..

That's the point of the regular season. The number 1 team should get a significant advantage against the lowest remaining seed. Lots of tournaments that have byes do it this way.

Honestly, UNI has no depth so in this scenario, it almost takes that advantage away.

Honestly, UNI has no depth so in this scenario, it almost takes that advantage away.

UNI was gassed at the end because of their lack of depth. Their top guys all played heavy minutes, and it looked like other than Green, nobody else wanted to take shots late in the game. They shot 27% in the 2nd half, and only 14% from three. Green was just 8-25 for the game.

And UNI played Drake in the final regular season game last Saturday, and clobbered then 70-43, but today they lost to the same Drake team 77-56. What a turnaround.
