Looks like Bradley will most likely be a 4 seed thanks to the home loss today against Loyola. SIU currently losing at MS right now. If that score holds up, Indiana State gains the tiebreaker over us for the 3 seed. Bradley would then face SIU. Bradley's two centers combined for zero points today. Bitter pill to swallow.
Thursday Game 1 AT 6:05: #8 Drake vs #9 ISU Red. The Redbirds can win this game if they can take care of the ball.
Thursday Game 2 AT 8:35: #7 Valpo vs #10 Evansville. Valpo will be disappointed to be in the play in game but seems like the Purple Aces just want their season to be over with.
Friday Game 1 AT 12:05: #1 UNI vs winner of Drake/ISU Red. It would be an upset if UNI doesn't win against whoever they play by less than double digits.
Friday Game 2 AT 2:35: #4 Bradley vs #5 SIU. If we play the whole game, not just half, with a sense of urgency we'll see the Panthers on Saturday.
Friday Game 3 AT 6:05: #2 Loyola vs winner of Valpo/Evansville. Freeman-Liberty gives the Crusaders a fighting chance but Loyola should prevail.
Friday Game 4 AT 8:35: #3 ISU Blue vs #6 Missouri State. The Sycamores have won 4 in a row but I'm just not too sure they can physically match up with the Bears who seemingly have put it together and playing like the pre season #1 ranked Mo Valley team.
The only team on our half of the bracket that concerns me is obviously NI. Several teams on the other side could have been problematic. Still need to bring our A game, otherwise we will be going home early.
Well, I know most of us aren't happy with the #4 seed, but that's a 1 spot improvement on last year's seeding. Let's hope we continue to get higher seeds every year, but most importantly, let's make sure we win this thing.

I've got a theory that if you give 100 percent all of the time, somehow things will work out in the end.

And still technically tied for third. While I’m a bit disappointed just because the loss stung yesterday, taking a step back we should be pretty excited about where we finished. It’s not easy to win 20 games let alone when your best player misses more than half the conference season. Not to mention that your second best player misses two games. Time to regroup and make a run at it in STL.
I think this is the best the MVC has looked in along time as far as parity is concerned. There is not a team ( except maybe Evansville ) that is a push over. And I like the fact all the teams in the conference have key players that are young and will be coming back next year. I am looking forward to next year for Bradley. Key players coming back plus Mast being healthy plus 2 guard transfers plus what looks like a good recruiting class.
Reflecting on the regular season, I’m very happy to be back to respectable. We won 4 valley road games which is no small task. However, we also lost at home to the two best teams. There is still a gap between us and the top. I as a fan am not yet satisfied, and it’s very nice to have a staff that I trust will never be satisfied. The trajectory is still pointed up.
