  • ESPN+ - cancelling your account

There will be no more Bradley men's basketball games streamed on ESPN+. If you signed up for the ESPN+ subscription to see Bradley games, you may want to cancel your subscription before you get billed for further months.

There are 2 more women's games on ESPN+ - the Sunday March 1st game against Missouri State and the Thursday, March 5th game at Indiana State.

It is easy to cancel- go to the subscription page here-

You will need to re-enter your screen name and password (or request a temporary pass-code) and click on the button to cancel subscription.
Your subscription will not cancel immediately. It will remain active until the end of your billing cycle, which for many of us will be around March 5th, since the first Bradley game on ESPN+ was the November 5 game at St. Joseph's, and the billing is done monthly on the date you originally subscribed.

Who televises the MVC Tournament Thursday, Friday, and Saturday games - I can't quickly think who it is ? They always show it as MVC TV - and who is that ? Thank you

Here is the Arch Madness schedule and the TV coverage is listed on the right for each game.
The official athletics website for Missouri Valley Conference

The MVC-TV Network (NBCSports Chicago, FoxSports Midwest, FoxSports Indiana, FoxSports Kansas City, and the FoxSports Go app, as well as ESPN for states outside the MVC footprint) televises all the Thursday and Friday games. Then CBSSports televises the Saturday and Sunday games.
ESPN3 or ESPN+ might archive and have replays available, but I don't know for sure about that.

Agreed. Thanks for the reminder. I'll be sure to cancel it before April. I like to still use it these first couple of weeks of March to watch conference tournaments and replays.

One other thing to consider that might affect a few fans- if you do not have access to any of the MVC-TV network channels and live outside the area covered by those cable channels, all of the Thursday and Friday games are also streamed on ESPN+. So those fans will want to wait until at least after Friday's games to cancel.

Glad you mentioned this DC - I was going to chime in with the same, but you beat me to it...good thing.
I recall watching the Thurs/Fri games in the tourney on ESPN+ the last few seasons, so I would think it would be the same deal this year.
I will cancel this weekend though.

Now IF we happen to play in CBI or CIT, or even NIT, would it be worthwhile to keep ESPN+?
I supposed if we cancel, we can resubscribe and it would be prorated.

The CBI has been on the ESPN networks the last 4 years, and many of the games were on ESPN+-

The CIT was on the CBSSports Network for many games, but last year they switched to a streaming format that was an offshoot of CBSSports called WatchCIT-

If your account expires after Friday you can cancel now, and they won't shut it off until your monthly renewal date rolls around. So if you are concerned about forgetting and you expire after Friday, just do it now and you don't have to think about it.

As far as CIT/CBI, you can reactivate if that happens. Kind of hoping it doesn't. After the first couple of years, those tournaments just seem a bit sad. I would watch, but sort of like one of those soccer tournaments where the losers in the final four rounds play each other. If you lose, you feel worse than you did the day before, and if you win, it's sort of a "who cares" moment.

Well with the LUCK OF THE IRISH today on St. Patrick's Day - I somehow remembered to cancel my ESPN+ and looked for Da Coach's post for the canceling website. The luck is - today is March 17th - and my subscription will now run out on March 19th.

So I am posting for others who may have forgot to cancel their ESPN+. Happy St. Patrick's Day.

                        Yes, Thank you Go_Braves.

It was definitely worth the monthly price during the Braves awesome season!

Looking forward to keeping the 20+ winning seasons going!
