Bradley's next game is against Loyola on Saturday, Feb. 29, at 1:00 pm.
TV: The game is on CBS Sports Network. The CBSSports Network broadcast will feature the same personalities that did the ISU game- Chris Hassel (play-by-play) & Tim Doyle (analyst)
Bradley is 20-10 overall, and 11-6 in the MVC. Loyola is 20-10 overall, and 12-5 in the MVC. They are just 4-6 in road games. Their last game was at home against Drake, which they won 64-60.
Bradley is coming off an overtime win at Illinois State on Wednesday, 74-71.
    Standings-
    Northern Iowa 13-4 - 24-5
    Loyola Chicago 12-5 1 20-10
    Bradley 11-6 2 20-10
    Southern Illinois 10-7 3 16-14

    Illinois State 4-13 9 9-20

Bradley played that game without Elijah Childs. No Bradley player scored more than 8 points.
The 51 points Bradley scored was the lowest total they've scored this season. They also scored 51 points against Northwestern in the Fort Myers Tip-Off.

Note that Darrell Brown has moved ahead of Elijah Childs, and is not Bradley's top scorer for the season.

Loyola's top scorer and rebounder is 6'9" junior center Cameron Krutwig (15.2 ppg & 8.1 rpg). The next 3 top scorers are all new players this year.
6'6" redshirt-junior Tate Hall (13.1 ppg) is a transfer from Division II U. of Indianapolis, 6'1" junior guard Keith Clemons (9.9 ppg--transfer from Vincennes Junior College, and 6'1" freshman guard Marquise Kennedy (9.3 ppg), .5th leading scorer is 6'4" junior guard Lucas Williamson (8.8 ppg), who was a freshman on their Final Four team in 2018. Loyola is a good three point shooting team, 36.5% as a team.
Their center Cameron Krutwig leads the team in assists with 127 in 30 games (4.2 apg). No other player has more than 68 on the season. It indicates what a good passer their big man is.

Bradley is 36-28 all-time against Loyola, and Bradley has won the last 2 games in Carver Arena. They also beat Loyola in the semifinal of last March's MVC Tournament.

Also seeing this game on ESPN3, which would be good news for anyone that does not have CBS Sports Network in their cable/satellite package. But bad news for Buffalo Wild Wings...

I don't know how accurate that is. The actual schedule page for Saturday's ESPN3 webcasts does not show the game-
https://www.espn.com/watch/schedule?...&type=upcoming (click on the 2/29 date)

It would be unusual for ESPN3 to have it if CBS Sports has the rights.

Agreed, but when you go to the team page you see it:

Game summary of the Loyola Chicago Ramblers vs. Bradley Braves NCAAM game, final score 67-66, from February 29, 2020 on ESPN.

It also has us at 59.2% matchup predictor to 40.8% for Loyola, which I like alot.

It also shows up for me... ESPN3. The Illinois State game didn't, FWIW.

No Bradley game on Sat. on ESPN3.
              Only ISU Red.

Guess I have to figure out where to watch CBS Sports Network.

The 1st game at the beginning of the month we came back late in the half as Sean Houpt scored our last 8 points of the half to trail by just 1. But Loyola was eventually able to pull away in the 2nd thanks to their overly physical play and the refs for not calling them on it. How Loyola only had 12 fouls called against them(we had 23) and they out shot us 21-30 to 5-5 from the FT line is beyond me. Darrell only played 26 minutes, a season low and 1 of only 2 games he's played that he didn't play over 30 minutes, because of foul trouble. To Brian's credit he didn't use that as an excuse. He put it on his own team to respond to the physical play and for the most part they have and if they want to win this game and win Arch Madness again they will need to continue to do so. Hopefully the last game was just an off game from Eli and he can come out refocused and take it to Ramblers, preferably from inside the paint. We also need to keep our emotions in check and not give up anymore free points.

bigjimmy - good post. And you are pointing out the officiating issues that I've been complaining about all year. It's not like this every year, but 30+ fouls consistently is just too much, and maybe it wouldn't be so bad, but the foul calling is totally inconsistent. None of us go to games to watch the refs, we're there for the players, and if something doesn't affect the play or isn't blatant I don't think they need to call it. If you want to call games by the book you could stop the game every 2 seconds (sometimes it feels like they are - ie. MSU game).

All that being said and off my chest, I do love how BW never mentions the officiating as an excuse, and nor should he, as it would do no benefit. The way that our players react to foul calls is typically much better than other teams and that's a direct reflection of BW.

Look, the foul calling has been abysmal this year in my opinion, but we can all agree that it is just a part of the game and we have to figure out how to play and win through it since we can't control the refs (note: this won't stop me from screaming at the top of my lungs at them).

I've got a theory that if you give 100 percent all of the time, somehow things will work out in the end.

As shown in the picture provided below - the ESPN web site shows the Bradley game on ESPN 3 - BUT Both the Loyola and Bradley game web sites show the game on CBS Sports Network. My hunch is the game is televised nationally on CBS Sports Network

LittleBrave - I too do not receive CBS Sports Network at my home.... I am not paying the extra to Directv - so I head to my local Sports Pub and have lunch.... All those expected to be on the chat room - once again I (Steve) will not be able to join you.

My wish is that Carver Arena is packed tomorrow for the last Bradley home game. Darrell, Nate and Koch need a great send off.

                    GO BRAVES !!!

It's definitely on CBS Sports Network. ESPN originally listed all games as ESPN3, but neglected to update our game when it was picked up by CBSSN about 3 weeks ago. But it definitely has been, and therefore won't be on ESPN3.

ESPN3 today is showing the Bradley Loyola game listed as being on at 6:00 pm. Lets hope that Bradley wins the game today! The fans without CBSSN would be able to watch a repeat of the game this evening if the information on the ESPN3 web site is correct.

Thanks for finding and posting that. That would be fun to watch again, even for us fans who attend the game, as long as Bradley wins!
I probably wouldn't want to torture myself watching it again if BU doesn't win.

Can’t tell you how many times I’ve returned home from games over at ISU and would turn the game on again and watch it over in its entirety. My wife would ask me if I thought the score or the outcome might change if I watched it again.

Don't forget the Braves Club Pre-Game party starting at 11 am in the Pere Marquette, and the Senior Day activities to honior Bradley's 3 seniors that start at 12:45pm. So get there a bit early and let Koch, Darrell, and Nate know how much Bradley fans appreciate tham!
