I made it in for the game. We made a great run in the second half, like a 20-0 run I think. Would have been nice to see them win.

Thought the 1st half we allowed Loyola’s overly physical game affect us. A complete 180 in the 2nd half as we held them scoreless for 8:00. Thought it was a mistake to have both Eli and DB to sit at the same time and it seemed to stop our momentum. Loved how we responded to the physical play and how strong we were with the ball. We only had 12 turnovers, only 4 in the 2nd half including Nate’s “alleged “ travel. Can’t ask for a better shot than DB got from 3 or the shot Eli had at the buzzer. Sometimes good shots, like good putts, just don’t go in. Only good news is that we will avoid Missouri State in the 1st round. We match up well with SIU. Just need to play hard the whole game and we’ll be fine. Proud of the effort and the season. Time is now boys to GET ER DONE!

What a great game..... Two MVC conference "JUGGERNAUTS" going at it. This time Bradley caught on the short end. A great game reminding Bradley what it is going to take next weekend. This one Bradley could afford to loose and I am sure Bradley realizes that they can play with Loyola anytime and a game like this only assures Bradley's confidence going into next weeks 2020 MVC Tournament.

Wardle was absolutely "livid" on that last non call with like 9 seconds remaining - and who can blame him?

Well "Buckle Up" - I expect a lot more of the same - A "Doozie" of a Tournament.

          GO BRAVES !!!

In the second half, Bradley found a frenzied, all-out, extreme mode of effort on the defensive end. If we could find that for a few stretches in the first half, we win. It looks to me like we are “saving up” for the second half. That doesn’t work against really good teams. Our offense is there for the most part. I’m disappointed in the officiating in the last minute as I felt they decided the game unfortunately. That shouldn’t happen. I like our chances against SIU. From there yajustneverknow.
            Compete. Defend. Rebound. Win.

There was an instance late in the game when Darrell Brown forced a travel out high on Clemons. Porter Moser appeared irate and charged down toward Brian Wardle and started screaming at him. Maybe it was because the travel call came after Wardle yelled at the ref to call something, but then he seemed surprised that Moser shouted at him. Wardle just shrugged it off with a wave of his hand, but Moser stayed mad and then started yelling at the refs.
Did anyone else see this? And did the announcers on TV say anything about it?

For the record, I thought Nate also got fouled when he drove down the lane at the end, was bumped, fell, and was called for a travelling violation.

Well I hope so..... Last game Bradley had a 18 point lead and at half time SIU coach stated to his team "

"That's an NCAA Tournament team. They're fully healthy. They were coming in here determined to win, and I challenged the guys to be that type of team," SIU coach Bryan Mullins said. "When we play the right way, we're as good as anybody in this league. With the type of guys and the character that is in the locker room, I knew they would respond."

And luckily Bradley pulled off a 2 point win on SIU's home court. Nothing is going to be easy next weekend and Bradley
                don't think otherwise.

HUGE gap between UNI and Loyola and the rest of the conference. I’ll eat my hat if one of those teams don’t win the tournament. Braves swept by both.

We play the first half the way we did the second and I don’t believe to many teams in the league would have beat us today. A lot of no calls also on Loyola’s guards. Seemed me that there was a lot of grabbing and bumping of Darrel out front.

Missouri St. beat us twice last year before the tourney. Also, only 16 of 43 conference champs have won the tourney, and that’s not to mention Coach’s point about NIU’s short bench minutes. No doubt Loyola and NIU are great teams and good enough to win it all, but so are we! If Child’s has a good game and one of our 3 point shooters gets hot, we can beat anyone on any given day. It’s going to come down to whoever wants it most.
Speaking of wanting it most, I ran into Lundy at the game and told him we need him to suit up! We need someone to step up like he did last year!

I've got a theory that if you give 100 percent all of the time, somehow things will work out in the end.

Well I hope the Braves can play their best basketball of the season because it will clearly take a full 40 minute effort. And yes, I’ll take Lundy!!

Perhaps anecdotal but I feel like teams we meet in the tournament that beat us in every regular season matchup tend to lose to us in the tournament.

Mike O’Neil is the worst referee in history.
