  • It's been 24 years Braves Fans!!!!

We won 20 reg. season games in the Valley Championship season of 1995-96.

Let's win 1 more and then ride the wave into the postseason!!!

Congrats Braves players, coaches and FANS!
BU fans are some of the most loyal. Been a long wait and we've been through many trials and tribs together.
    We deserve this!!

Thank you to our administration (notably Chris Reynolds) who has helped turned the program around, for Coach Wardle's patience/perseverance, and the guys who have stuck with the growing pains since Year 1 of the new era.

Been a special season and it ain't ova yet!

LittleBrave - couldn't agree more. Chris Reynolds - what an absolutely tremendous individual. If you haven't had a chance to meet this guy, go up and say hi next time you see him at a game and you'll find out immediately what a genuine and impressive guy he is. He brought us Wardle and said he was the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd choice, so clearly he understands character and talent.

Coach has talked about him as a possible candidate for the Indiana AD job, and him leaving just sounds terrible. That being said, he's such a class act that even though it would stink to lose him, I would only root for him to get any and every opportunity that he's interested in. He deserves it! I just hope that BU pays him and appreciates him so much that it becomes the job that he WANTS for a very long time!

I've got a theory that if you give 100 percent all of the time, somehow things will work out in the end.

Well said. Dr. Reynolds is the reason Bradley University athletics are no longer in the tank.

The notes summary at the end of last game's story from BUBraves.com mentioned that this year's team reached 20 wins in the reg. season for the 1st time since 2008-'09, but that is not correct.
During that season under Coach Les, BU won 17 games before Arch Madness - then won 1 game vs S IU behind Theron and Sammy (14-14 from the FT stripe). We played in the Inaugural CIT tourney, with the highlight being Chris Roberts' unforgettable 74-foot buzzer beater to beat Oakland. We won 1 more game (vs Pacific) to get to 21 total wins.

So this is the 1st time since the great 1995-'96 season that we've reached this 20-win mark before Arch Madness.
          24 (AP's #) years!
