Hopefully everyone who is going will be witness to a Smackdown of the Redbirds. We just need a W and whether it’s by 1 or 21 is really irrelevant this time of year. Go do it boys! GET ER DONE!

BU received some tickets as is required by the MVC. They usually have a small number right behind their bench (in front of Sec 115), and a few more up higher somewhere in the upper bowl. Other than the people who got tickets from Bradley, the rest of the Bradley fans are usually scattered around wherever tickets were available (usually upper bowl).

I’m in Normal! Got my gondola at Avanti’s and a killer parking spot thanks to Da Coach. Heading in for a Bradley W!

              Bradley wins in overtime, 74-71!

Amazing that Bradley hung in and made a couple huge comebacks despite almost everyone playing poorly most of the game.
Despite Elijah Childs fouling out with only 4 points and 4 rebounds and a terrible foul on Zach Copeland on a low-percentage fall-away three pointer at the end of regulation to allow ISU to tie the game, Ja'Shon Henry scored all 7 of Bradley's points in overtime to carry the team to the win.

Nate played well, and lead BU with 19 points. Darrel Brown recovered from a poor first half to end with 17 points and 7 assists, and he played 43 minutes.
Koch Bar had 10 points, 8 rebounds. Ville Tahvanainen really helped Bradley to stay in the game with 8 points.
Bradley overcame 35% FG% and 23% on threes, plus overcame 2 technical fouls. They outrebounded ISU 47-42, and had only 9 turnovers. And Bradley forced 19 ISU turnovers and had 25 points off turnovers to 5 for ISU.

Bradley is 20-10 now, and 11-6 in the MVC.

That was an ugly game but a win is a win. Was probably Child's worst game all season.

Yikes that was a rough win. But as they say, a win is a win. Also did it seem like that ref was out to get kennal at the end of regulation with that technical and then seeing his foot shuffle.

Wow, Henry did all that in OT with 4 fouls, he better be Player of the Game because without his effort the Braves come home with a loss!

Man, was that ugly. I’m heading back to Naperville a happy man, though. Good thing that the Redbirds don’t shoot like Valpo, we would have been done early. Childs was really frustrated in the first half.

The good news is Indiana State beats SIU 77-68!

Talk about gutting out a win! Looked like Copeland tried to flop on the last 3 pointer in overtime and as always it feels good to pull out a win at their place. With a win on Saturday we finish in a tie for second! I think we see the biggest crowd of the year too.

Crazy game. Glad we got the W though. A loss would have been aweful.

Actually, I think that hurts us. If SIU and Bradley both won out, we’d have been the two seed. We now need to jump up 9 spots in NET rankings to pass Loyola for the two seed. I don’t think with how we looked tonight that we’ll jump up that much.
