Bradley beat Missouri State rather easily in Springfield, MO back on January 15, 91-78. Bradley played that game without Elijah Childs. Bradley shot 17-30 from three in that game, with Nate Kennell having perhaps his best game as a Brave with 25 points on 7-10 from three. Everyone who played that game played well.

    Box score- https://s3.amazonaws.com/sidearm.sit...i_State_78.pdf

Missouri State point guard Tyrik Dixon, who started their first 17 games, has missed their last 10 games with a shoulder issue. He's been replaced in the starting lineup by freshman Ja'Monta Black, who is averaging 4.9 ppg. They are lead by 6'5" senior guard Keandre Cook with 14.6 ppg and 42.2% from three. The next 3 highest scorers are their 3 main big men- 6'8" junior forward Gaige Prim (13.5 ppg & 4.4 rpg), 6'8" senior forward Tulio Da Silva (9.9 ppg & 7.1 rpg), and 6'8" senior forward Lamont West (9.0 ppg & 3.9 rpg). West likes to play more on the perimeter, and takes a lot of threes, 120 this season (34.2%), more than anyone but Keandre Cook (135). Over 60% of Lamont West's shots come from behind the 3-point line.

This is now our most important game, and MSU is a worthy opponent. Although they’ve underperformed expectations, they do have some road toughness and should not be taken lightly. Could MSU too be putting things together for a late season surge? Let’s play our best ball and put this in the win column.
    Compete. Defend. Rebound. Win.

They are indeed a scary team and seem to be figuring it out. Lets hope we can slow them down but they need a W to keep out of Thursday night. It will not be the same team we handled in their place so it will likely be a battle we must win. I like our chances the way we've been playing. Get er done

Our last four games will all be very tough. You have Missouri State and Valpo who are trying to avoid Thursday, Illinois State alway gives us one of their best games whenever we play them, and then a Loyola team looking at catching UNI. Just have to take it one game at a time. Win the rebounding battle and make your free throws and we should see some W's. Hopefully starting Wednesday!

We should have some big crowds for these last two home games. Weather is looking good for Wednesday night too so I'm hoping we get a good turnout. Should be a good game.

Bradley men's basketball looks to continue its three-game winning streak on Wednesday, hosting Missouri State at Carver Arena. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m. on FOX Sports Midwest and NBC Sports Chicago Plus.

I very much enjoy the rub it in their faces dunk at the last second.

Impressive poise and confidence down the stretch. FTs were a struggle at times, but they made every one when they needed them at the end.

Announcers said something between both teams assistants after the game?

51 fouls called and that doesn’t include the T that didn’t count as a personal. Probably the worst officiating I’ve seen in Carver arena in my life and honestly, that wasn’t even basketball with how frequently they stopped the game.

I hope the incessant foul calling is dealt with because I don’t pay good money for season tickets to go watch the referees.

All that being said, that was the craziest that crowd has been since the Les era. And who would have thought last year that Ja’Shon would be lifting the team on his back by making so many key free throws, and DB showed some real fire tonight (and I loved it).

We typically play much better when we get some rhythm going and all the fouls kept that from happening, but we still pulled out the win. We didn’t just beat Missouri St. tonight, we beat the refs, too.

3 to go. Way to go Braves! You made us proud tonight!

I've got a theory that if you give 100 percent all of the time, somehow things will work out in the end.

I DO NOT want to play this team again this season unless it is the final of the 2020 MVC Tournament. Reasons include:

                            1) Last season (2018-19) Bradley lost to Mo State twice during the regular season - thus incentive for Bradley to win first game in 2019 MVC Tournament.

                            2) Incentive now reversed for Mo State if they face Bradley during the 2020 MVC tournament

                            3) Da Silva - their best player - will be back... and we had a difficult enough time at home February 19th to pull out a OT win.

                            4) From what I can tell and recall - they were the most physical team we played all season - more than Loyola or Indiana State

                            5) Gage Prim will not make a technical foul (and have 2 fouls) in the first minute of the next game

                            6) Nothing would make Mo State happier than to knock off last years 2019 MVC Tournament Champion
Actually this is true for all MVC teams - but more so Mo State, Loyola, and Northern Iowa

Horrible refs but we got the win anyway. Tall bald ref was the worst of them all in my opinion. Anyone else really scared when Childs was holding his right hand after that attempted dunk before half? It didn't seem to affect him too much in the second half.
