From what I saw, Head Coach Dana Ford was very upset and angry at the end of the game, instead of shaking hands, he ran down the court and appeared to be chasing the officials who were heading off the court, but then he stopped and went back to the handshake line. I suspect he was not happy that he didn't get a couple fouls late in overtime while Bradley was shooting a lot of free throws.
I didn't see anything between the assistant coaches after the game ended. But before the game a couple of the MSU assistants came down and appeared to talk for a while with a couple of our assistant coaches (specifically Jimmie Foster and Kristof Kendrick) as if they knew each other pretty well.

    Official box score-

    Attendance- 5,708

The refs were a real mess.
One thing they’ve got to start to get right is that the defender can jump and go straight up against a shooter. Sometimes we mess it up and bring our hands downward, but several times the last couple games our guys Childs, Henry, Boya extend straight up and get a perfect block only to get called.

Also we’ve had some flops against us again, and what happened to those being T’s?
      Compete. Defend. Rebound. Win.

51 fouls called. Unbelievable! Great win though. Let’s go on the road now and take these next two! Go Braves!

Wow what can you say! So much heart and determination. Our Dr Jeckyl and Mr Hyde tendencies ones again showed up at the FT line. but fortunately when it mattered in the last 3:00 of regulation then in overtime we made 11-12 FT's. In the first 37 minutes we were 15-24. Missouri State was probably the most physical team I've seen in person this season and with them finally living up to expectations I knew it was going to be a tough game. And the refs, even though there were 51 fouls called, really did a piss poor job. Too many crappy fouls to recount as well as way too many times our guys would be bodied up by the Bears on offense and the refs mostly let that go. And I'm sorry but the T right at the beginning of the game against Prim for MSU was a joke. Despite all of that we showed our character and came out on top. We might have had to go 45 minutes instead of 40 but we got the job done. Let's keep on keeping on boys and go to Valpo and GET ER DONE!

Watched the game at home, and man, our crowd seemed really into it!
Do we have the final official attendance #'s?

Exhilarating win - heart was pounding throughout as if I were watching a thriller (movie).
I can't remember being this nervous during a regular season game in a looooooong time! But that's a GOOD thing!

            GO BRAVES!
Proud of the effort and determination!
BU fans, this is a special group. Cherish the remaining games!

Most of the accolades for this team go to Elijah Childs, Darrell Brown, Nate Kennell, Ja'Shon Henry, Koch Bar, Ville and the others, and rightfully so. But Danya Kingsby is having a pretty good season, too, for someone who is playing their first season of Division I basketball, and their first season in 2 years, since he sat out all of last season. Danya's statistics never really jump out at you, except for his 28 point game, but here are his averages.
Danya is 5th on the team in scoring with 7.9 ppg, he's 4th in minutes played, he is shooting 38.2% from three, he is 2nd on the team in assists behind Darrell Brown, 2nd in steals, and the coaches consider him an outstanding perimeter defensive player and he usually draws the best opposing guards to defend. I love his quickness and athleticism, which adds a needed dimension to the team. I don't think Bradley would be anywhere near where they are right now if Danya hadn't transferred and been granted the waiver to be eligible right away this season. I am looking forward to seeing him next year as more of a team leader.

Here is a video of the final few seconds of the game-
                https://twitter.com/BravesClub/statu...43418737876992

If you look quickly near the end of the video clip, you can see Dana Ford stepping out on the court and yelling at the official. It appeared he might have thought Keandre Cook should have gotten a foul call on his shot with 15 seconds left, when they were shooting for the tie. It lead to the breakout and dunk by Henry that made the final score 83-79. I didn't see a foul, but maybe he did. As I mentioned earlier, he appeared to chase after the refs as the left the court, but then thought better about it.

A great win but we have some work to do. There is a decent chance we meet again on Friday in St Louis and they will be even more difficult with DaSilva. They are very physical but Koch, Ari, and Henry need to find a way not to commit so many fouls. We were way way too sloppy with the ball -Wardle seemed to not be so upset with the turnovers but quite a number of them were just mental mistakes. I love Ville’s shooting and effort but lord he turns the ball over way too much. Not trying to be too negative and as I said it was a great win but we need to tighten things up-we are way to close to win or go home time.

i sure hope we don’t play them on Friday-I hate to think of playing them and then even if we win we need to play again the next day.

I think last night Missouri State finally showed why they were the #1 preseason favorite. Big win for the Braves. And this was the worst officiating I have ever seen. The MVC really needs to do something to upgrade our officials.

I still get "goose bumps" watching that final play. I am clear out here in Colorado and just perplexed as to why so many Peoria area Bradley fans are not attending the home games. Games like this reminds me of the Bradley magic that I first witnessed my freshman year in 1971 when Bradley defeated previous season Big 10 Champions Minnesota at Robertson Memorial. I've been hooked ever since and personally witnessed so much magic.

My issue with the officiating in this game was consistency. They were letting the bigger MOST guards and wings, push, clutch and grab out front, but then when there was contact under the basket or our bigs went up and got a block it was called a foul. Additionally, it blew my mind that they were letting traveling go the entire game until the end of regulation. MOST players definitely have the football move down where they put the ball under their arm run three steps and then get a shot up. Recency bias most likely prevails, but this is the worst officiating game I remember at Carver. I am glad the guys pulled it out, but I don't necessarily blame them for the turnovers because that team was bigger and much more physical.

That was one of the fastest most physical Bradley games I can ever remember. They probably could have even called more fouls and Missouri State was really reaching and going over the back and bumping our guards often. I do think we got a huge break with the BS technical foul against Prim. We had no answer for him and we got killed on the glass in the second half.

I also have said for many years that I think college needs to go to 6 fouls like NBA. The top college players play just as many minutes in 40 as the top NBA players do in 48. I also don't think a technical should count as a personal foul. No one wants to see all these players foul out or be on the bench the entire game in a physical game.

I agree with everyone and really do not want to see them opening game on Friday. I'm hoping Wardle isn't too hard on them next few days in practice so we can be ready to go to Valpo. That game had to take a ton out of Bradley but certainly good preparation for Arch Madness.

As another poster said, that was about as nervous as I can get for a regular season game. It was such a great game I wanted that win so bad.

Posted attendance was 5,708, but it sure seemed like more to me. Definitely the loudest crowd we've had since the Les era.

As far as how good MoSt. is or was, I honestly can't really say. When a whistle is being blown every 30 seconds it's hard to determine who really was the better team on the court. I'm just glad we came away with the win.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, Carver arena is the only place you can come every week and not see a home court advantage in the foul calls, and 51 fouls in one game is just ludicrous. That's not even basketball, that's referees playing a game with guys who happen to have a basketball.

As for the Prim technical at the beginning of the game, it wasn't crazy over the top, but he showed the ref up and threw the ball toward his crotch when he wasn't looking. I think that's going to be called more often than not.

I'm just glad we got the win, and honestly, the passing on that last play with a Ja'Shon throw-down to end the game was awesome and made up for all the crap officiating. The crowd went INSANE and I am so glad I was there to be a part of it.

I've got a theory that if you give 100 percent all of the time, somehow things will work out in the end.

A good friend that helps with stats said that Prim kind of pushed Wardle instead of shaking his hand. That might have been the scuffle that was being talked about.
